Gaza: Residents waving white flags ’shot dead as they flee their homes’

Israeli forces said they had pushed deeper into Gaza City amid heavy fighting, with some units within a mile of the densely populated urban centre. Terrified residents were said to be fleeing from many homes which had been set alight.

At least three Palestinians in Gaza were shot dead yesterday after Israeli soldiers fired on a group of residents leaving their homes on orders from the military and waving white flags, according to testimony taken by the Israeli human rights group B’Tselem. The testimony was rejected by the military after what it said was a preliminary investigation.

The thrust by Israeli ground forces into Tel Hawwa was the furthest the Israelis had gone into Gaza City since military operations were launched on 27 December. Meanwhile, Israel’s Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert, declared that he would press forward with an “iron fist”. While his government in Jerusalem is claiming that Hamas’s military capabilities have been severely damaged, its senior intelligence sources have revealed that only a “few hundred” of the movement’s 20,000 men have been killed, including several of its key leaders. The officials also stated that Hamas still had significant supplies of rockets left in their arsenal despite firing several hundred of them into Israel since military operations began.

the zionist jews want nothing more than to rid the palestinians from israel. make life unbareable for the palestinians so they exit israel so that it becomes a one jewish state. if we had representatives in this country with any conscientiousness with real love of human life and not love of money than this would never have happened. if the people of the world don’t wake up soon we will find ourselves in a repeat of ww2 but instead of the jews it’ll be the arabs and anyone who stands against the new world order. check out what the croation catholics did to the orthodox serbs [ustachi]. this world is controlled by evil not by good. people say their christian but they seem to always support the evil. it doesn’t take genius to see the wrong being done ,only blindness and onesidedness could allow people to condone these atrocities. 911 was the catalysis to bring the zionist to run amuck just one more part of their domino effect

#11 There is still brotherhood in the world today, each disaster we see take place is met by the people, not the governments. 9-11 we watched the two towers fall, in response we saw not just our heroic first responders, but average citizens come together. People of the world do come together, but first they need to wake up.

If you watch CNN,FOX, MSNBC etc. and you’ve been educated about the blatant propaganda,the bad acting of the reporters is just SO obvious.If you still believe ANYTHING they say,you’re either totally ignorant or in complete denial.These media outlets are just as guilty as the sick soldiers pulling the triggers and dropping the chemical filled bombs on all the innocent.Parent’s out there who are in the know should make restricting T.V. AND Video games,especially war and violent games,a TOP priority.Many kids out there just have no concept of respecting human life.That’s why you’ll see so many entries on these blogs promoting the war machine.On the other hand, it’s got to give you hope to see so many youngsters waking up.Get out in the real world people and share your knowledge.Stay positve and NEVER give up your expectations for a better tomorrow.

What a fascist state Isreal is? Thier state is run by gangsters and zionists and have nothing to do with Judaism. Nowhere in the bible or the Torah does God say its ok to committ genocide yet that is what is happening. Why do we see the Palestinians as terrorists for simply defending thier homeland? Is it not the Zionists that are terrorists and Britain the accomplice through the Balfour Agreement? Im just being objective. Also, to be fair, part of the Arab world is to blame. Why no help to the Palestinians? I see the house of Saud seems too happy to turn a blind eye makeing trillions of thier dirty oil. Why no aid to the Palestinians? Why not twist the arm of the west in order to create a Palestinian state in the name of peace? Or, why doesnt another Arab nation absorb the Palestinians into thier country in order to prevent genocide? Where is the brotherhood in the world?
