"Hieroglyphic" is an adjective. The noun is "hieroglyph".
Anyone so ignorant as to speak of "deciphering hieroglyphics" is extremely unlikely to know anything at all about the Egyptian language.
and i thought i was going to have a compatible conversation,how many billions have become what they read amazes me.Hieroglyphics is no language.
