We've been paying into the unemployment trust fund since the day we started working 'over the counter'.

So who has the money and to whom did our interest free loan go?

Yes it's safe, it's very safe, it's so safe you wouldn't believe it....
... No, it's not safe, it's very dangerous. Be Careful.

I run the food and clothing ministry here in Ky. We are located in Trimble Co. Please, is there anyway you can come to us and get clothes??? We need to get rid of alot! The Lord told us to downsize, and we've been looking for a place to donate. Please contact me again. Is there a way of privacy? Can someone with a covered truck come to Trimble county???

We'd love to share what the Lord has blessed us with. God Bless you!

i read a book about 15 years ago that said this will happen.just think if you have no food for your family.they will make you take the mark of the beast.may our lord be with us, god bless us all.

yes, they will, if they don't have the holy spirit and the strength of the Lord. Prepare spiritually as well as physically. The bible has a type of shadow of this event. In the old testament, Esau sold his birthright for a bowl of stew. In Hebrews 6 it states that Esau sought repentence with much tears and sorrow, but could not find it. When the mark of the beast comes out, many thousands of christians will sell their birthright (entrance into heaven) for food. Once their bellies are full, they will realize what they had done, and seek repentence with much weeping and sorrow and will not find it.

Please, please strengthen your spirit. Seek God. Be filled with the Holy Spirit! The time is nearly upon on.

MOst of the workers in the usa have already sold their souls. There are more government workers now than people who work otherwise.

The usa got sold down the river decades ago. Probably really got going when kennedy was shot. Or when they had created the first depression and then set up what would be known as world war 2. The world and usa have been under the thumb of the overseers for many decades.

To know who the overseers are you just have to see who is raking off all the money of the world and taking it away from others.

The overseers already own most everything and control most everything. I'm wondering what this enema of the world is gonna be all about. I'm guessing this set up destruction of the economy of the world they might want to get rid of alot of people with the excuse of a war or plague, or something.

I'm guessing some of the overseers want one thing and others want some things else. Else they would have killed off alot of us by now. Don't know why they let the humans keep breeding so much for the last decades. I guess they've been expeirementing with ways to cut down the human population with chemicals in the food, water and air.

This all reminds me so much of those books written about creating a dumber race to do the work and an upper smarter class to run things. My guess is the reason they hate the muslims so much is they muslims just won't go on board with the ideas the overseers have.

I have heard this, too. But I don't think this clause is in the bill (law) itself, just a letter the government put out. Until I see it in the law, I am going to give away as much as I can by Feb 10th. The way the letter reads, if we give away or resell anything that has lead in it, then we face fines of 100,000 dollars and jail time.

unemployment running out ...

and this shit is going to last at least another year

It will most likely go on for years.

The projected deficit for Ohio is 7.4 billion over the next two years. So a state borrows from the feds. How will that state ever pay it back if they are bankrupt?

Just like countries pay back the IMF...

.

I'm afraid you're absolutely correct...which means:

We're going to lose our roads, selling them off to private interests, turning them into toll roads...Selling off state and federal public lands....the rapidization of public utilities being "privatized", on and on and on...

And don't think the trans-Texas corridor is done with...it's not...that was just for public consumption..

Hail Jaun Carlos!!! The next Obama of the world.

That will mean, right back in the dark middle age

Re: Kentucky Unemployment trust fund NEARLY DEPLETED!
Hi - I think this thread has great importance. I went back through and found that the states listed in this thread whose Unemployment Trust Funds are in trouble are:

MS, KY, RI, OH, MI, TX, and PA.

I checked to see how Colorado's is and it seems to be fairing pretty well - our state economy is holding out largely due to lots of high tech, medical related, and more importantly, government related businesses here.

In my search I found this article:

[link to coloradoindependent.com]

The article also mentions IN. I wonder what percentage of the US working population those 19 states represent. I wonder how many more states have been added to the list since this article was written...

I also wonder just how far the bailout money will really go if suddenly all of these states are requesting back-up loans.

Re: Kentucky Unemployment trust fund NEARLY DEPLETED!
Apparently California is one of the 19 states listed...

• Not Solvent: Five states (Michigan, Indiana, New York, South Carolina, and Ohio) have reserves
covering 3 months or less of their average monthly UI payments.
• Nearly Insolvent: Eight states have reserves covering 4 to 6 months of average payments (New
Jersey, California, Kentucky, Missouri, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Rhode Island, and Arkansas).
• Marginally Solvent: Another six states have balances that fall into the 7 to 11 month range when
compared to current benefit payment levels (Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Idaho, Illinois, Connecticut,
and Massachusetts).

[link to www.nelp.org]

So, in about half a year about a third of our country's states will have insolvent unemployment trust funds.

Zoinks.

Probably will last for a while. The economy is collapsing. Which is what bush and paulson and their bank syndicate had planned all along. They have billions now to buy up the usa for pennys on the dollar. All planned.

Gonna be interesting to see how obama's people deal with the complete meltdown.

Re: Kentucky Unemployment trust fund NEARLY DEPLETED!
$900 in MA? If I relocate there, will I get that amount or would I get the amount from the state where i am now getting UI benefits? I might leave here before the well runs dry

And that's just our brothers and sisters in Kentucky! I think that sums up America right now. I can only imagine the status of the other 49 states. The inherent problem is that endless borrowing is not a solution but a bigger problem.

I'm in Washington state and I get $541 a week

Yeah, they are as of 1-1-08, a year old. Several have gone up a tad. 541 isn't too bad, but it's all relative, ya know. 541 is decent for WA state, but in Mississippi that would be living like a freaking KING.

yeah, I'm lucky - they base the amount on your last 12 months of work, and I had a great year so received the max

should pay about 50% of the bills (with 2 kids in college)
