Ice, that is beautiful what you and your wife are trying to do for the folks who aren't as fortunate as we are. No matter how bad we think things are in our lives, many folks are far worse off than we are. I don't want to get off on a tangant about our father and what he wants from us and how we are blessed by our love and actions to others because the shills and befunkers will have a field day. You know what I mean!! LOL

My wife and I do some work with the local elderly and families who are struggling to try to ensure that they stay in their homes and are able to keep warm. We are blessed!!

Took me a lot of years but I finally figured out that there are many things in life that just dont really matter in the end.I always plan ahead in order to take care of myself and my family and I stop there.

You can not dwell on the future nor can you change the past.We can live life to the fullest on a daily basics or we can spend our time worrying and miss every blessing in the present.Worry does not change one thing.

As for the new president,we all need to wish him well and much success.Never do we want him to fail.If he fails all people suffer.Regardless of who did nor did not vote for him is now mute.The bottom line is NO ONE is put into that oval office unless its Gods will.Any President we have in office tends to show us a lot about ourself.For instance when Clinton was in office no one cared about morals,etc because the economy was booming and money was rolling in.

We all have a purpose we want to see filled and no President can fulfill every persons needs.Yes he is different than any previous Presidents but that in no way will make him all bad.He will be just as every other President that came before him.He will meet with approval and disapproval. We as a people have to hope and pray that he can better us all.
