Could only open my mouth about an inch. Caused me to have to go on a forced juice fast. I juiced mostly fresh organic vegetables and fruit juices. My health began to flourish and within a few days my jaw began to heal. Try this. |

Bean There User ID: 594839 United States 01/18/2009 12:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Sounds like lymph infection. I would start with warmed hydrogen peroxide in the ear, till it stops bubbling. Do both, one at a time. A warm gargle wouldn’t hurt either. Warm peroxide compress to the ear and throat wouldn't hurt. Keep it OUT of your eyes. Look for “Thieves Blend” or “Medieval Mix” essential oil blend at local health food store. Get the true oil kind, with citrus and eucalyptus oil, not the watery type with lots of herbs. A couple of drops in a little water several times per day. Rubbing a touch around the ear and down the neck helps also. Knocks my problem out in a day. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 595220 United States 01/18/2009 12:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think I might have weird outer ear infection. My jaw hurts really bad, and my throat is sore on that one side (I'm a assuming from ear drainage). My ear doesn't hurt as bad as the jaw, though. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 593167If I have an ear infection, what should I do? I've had 3 antibiotics in 2 months for various ills and a surgery, and I'm DONE with the doc for now. Could it be TMJ? It hurts really bad in my jawbone hinge. go to the health food store and buy Pau d'arco tea and also peppermint tea make hot tea using both tea bags together drink this all day long until the symptoms go away honey is a good sweetner, because it's naturally antimicrobial add a few drops of tea tree oil to some olive or almond oil and apply this to your outer ear take megadoses of odor free garlic take a megadoses of vit. C for a few days drink lots of pure spring water (carry it with you at all times) get lots of rest (8-10 hours per night) you'll be well before you know it :) |

I've been drinking water and tea--green tea, mainly. I just had my gb out, so garlic might cause problems, but I'll try it! It could be my lymph nodes--that makes sense. It's right at my ear, jaw hinge, and down to under side of head. Right where my jaw lines up under ear. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 593167since you had your gallbladder removed, i would recommend you follow this recipe to keep your liver working well: Mild Liver/Gallbladder Cleanse Preparation On the day or two preceding the Flush, it is important that you are having regular bowel movements and that you do not have a fever or other pronounced cleansing symptoms. Otherwise, you may feel nauseated or very poorly on the day of the Flush. Cleanse Ingredients The following proportions are for one flush for the average adult. Mix the following ingredients together in a high-speed blender: 1. 1/2 cup organic tomato juice 2. 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil (organic, extra virgin, cold-pressed) 3. 1/2 tsp. freshly grated, raw, organic garlic (avoid commercial garlic which is usually too weak) 4. 2 caps Turmeric, a special liver-cleansing herb. Open the capsules, then add to mixture. 5. To swallow: 2 caps of Gallbladder Complex to help to dialate the neck of the gallbladder. Instructions 1. Mix the above ingredients in a high-speed blender to make your first drink. 2. Drink this mixture (your first drink) first thing in the morning. Follow immediately with two capsules of Gallbladder Complex. 3. Wait 15 minutes, then drink a second drink (make the second drink using the same ingredients above again). Follow with two capsules of Gallbladder Complex. 4. Wait 90 minutes before eating or drinking. 5. Repeat the Liver/Gallbladder Flush once a week for 2 months. At lunchtime, you may eat your regular lunch and take your lunch supplements. At dinnertime, you may eat your regular dinner and take your dinner supplements. Most people find the Liver/Gallbladder Flush drink pleasantly spicy and because of the olive oil, rather filling. Waiting 90 minutes before eating lets the Flush work its way through the digestive tract, unhampered by any food. After The Flush After the Flush, I recommend taking 1 tsp each of Gallbladder Detox and Liver Detox daily along with the Gallbladder Starter Kit, designed to boost the optimal functioning of the liver and gallbladder. How often do you do the Flush? Repeat the Gallbladder/Liver Flush (both doses) once per week for 2 months. If you have been chronically ill, you may need to take only one dose of the Flush each week or skip weeks in between using the Flush. To help achieve optimal liver health, repeat this Flush series at least once a year. What do I eat while on the liver cleanse? On the days that you do the Liver/Gallbladder Cleanse: 1. Have your lunch and dinner contain a large, fresh organic salad with lots of leafy greens (no head lettuce) and grade 10 vegetables (cooked and raw). 2. Avoid additional oils or fats (such as butter, oil, dressings, fried food, etc.) in order to maximize the flush. 3. Salad dressings may contain any of the following: avocado, garlic, onion, herbs, sea salt, or other spices. 4. Use minimal amounts of protein (meat or dairy), or preferably none. 5. Snacks may be homemade vegetable soup, vegetable broth, fresh, raw organic vegetable juice (preferably home-juiced), fresh raw vegetables, herbal teas or purified water. 6. Avoid all fruit on this day. Caution: If you are chronically ill or under a doctors care, check with you doctor before trying a new program |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 595220 United States 01/18/2009 12:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i just noticed they mentioned "gallbladder complex" in the instructions, you can substitute a supplement like this: [link to www.vitacost.com] liver support capsules Herbal Liver Support is a special herbal formulation that includes milk thistle and dandelion. It can help purify the blood and protect the liver from toxins and poisons. Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) is a natural remedy for liver health. It contains silymarin, a mixture of flavonolignans with liver-protecting properties. This plant grows in parts of Europe and the United States. It is also known as Mary thistle, Marian thistle, Lady's thistle, Holy thistle, and the wild artichoke. As a blood purifier, Dandelion is considered an excellent tonic that cleanses poisons from the body. It is a natural and safe cleansing agent and liver tonic, rich in potassium. It may help strengthen the liver and support liver health by promoting the flow of bile from the liver. Dandelion is also rich in lecithin, which is believed to support healthy liver function. Dandelion also helps increase urine flow and rid the body of excess water. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 589152Sorry, wish I could help... LOL. I'll keep my head, thanks. I think it might be a combination of allergic problems causing a mild sinus/ear infection, and grinding my teeth has cause my TMJ to hurt, possibly get infected since it's by the affected ear. So, I'm going to try compresses, the peroxide, garlic, and resting my jaw. Maybe I'll do a liquid diet for a day or two. Sucks. Just now have started eating somewhat normally after the cholesestectomy. |

Agent Tray User ID: 405737 Canada 01/18/2009 01:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ear Candida.. perhaps. Grapefruit seed extract will work, will also work if it is bacterial/viral Oh I would try some iodine in the ear and some oil of oregano in the throat too.. The colloidal silver/vit c/vit e/zinc advice is good too, but the vits/minerals are better at prevention than cure.. If it is TMJ, which I have had, look up some mouth exercises online.. that helped me.. do you brux? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world? |

katmac User ID: 595708 United States 01/18/2009 01:33 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I had the exact same symptoms in November. The jaw thing kind of scared me. I started taking lots of vitamins, esp. C. Then I warmed olive oil with garlic and put that in my ear - careful not to have it too hot. But when I started using hydrogen peroxide, slightly diluted with water, it really began to work. It took a couple weeks and actually got worse before it got better. Lay on your side and use the HP drops - let it bubble for maybe 10 - 15 minutes then rinse it out very thoroughly with a syringe with warm water. I almost gave up but persevered and it is great now - I can hear better out of that ear now than I could in years. |

I would talk to a well referred ENT (ear nose and throat) specialist. I would get a referral from your general practioner doctor so that it is covered by insurance (hoping you have insurance). I would rather err on the side of caution than give you the wrong advice. |
