Collecting the gold coins = modern day capitalism for the masses.


I musta missed that particular degree.


Unless you're high up ie. above 30 degrees, they won't tell you anything really. Most freemasons have no idea of what they're involved in.


Does this mean that I should not trust my friend who is a 33rd degree mason?


Depends what you mean by 'trust' and what he has told/is telling you.


He is very generous. He has given me and my family all sorts of things that we could not have afforded, like a top of the line cell phone for my kids and one for me. He has given us several camera's all sorts of technology stuff. He brings cognac, which I could not possibly ever afford to my house. He has given us a constant stream of books, CD's with interesting esoteric stuff to read, music, MP3 players, stuff like that. He has helped me get a better job, encouraged my kids to stay at school and aim for university. He has gotten info on universities for them to think about. There is no end of kindness, good humor, encouragement. In fact if I compare his behavior to any other person that I have ever known he seems to be the best person I have ever met. If it sere not for the fact that I know he is not a Christian, I would say he is the most Christian person I have ever known.


Ummm.. he has given you material objects that have cash value. Isn't friendship more important than electronic goods and alcohol?
