REagards the green graphs on the lower left of real time, some months ago, I figured where that data (temp and density) must be coming from, probably a GOES satellite, because the data is from the Geostationary Orbit. So this information is taken MUCH closer to earth than from SOHO and ACE, which are a million miles out. The weather satellites are seems like about 30,000 miles up. Perhaps there is a GOES site, in fact I am sure there is, I just don't have it bookmarked, but have run across it. I still have not found out what the data is on the AE Index, but those graphs are sure useful.
Editing later on: AE is Auoral Electrojet. It is a setof 4 indices collected from the auroral (high latititude) regions of Earth. There are other indice sets for lower altitudes. Still can't find exactly WHAT each of the 4 indices measures. These have been measured since 1966. Basically these increase when there is ingress during storms. There are 12 stations that supply data, and raw data can have inaccuracies, (and the daily stuff is raw data), based in part on the number of stations reporting.
If you wish to wade through it, here is a page: [link to swdcwww.kugi.kyoto-u.ac.jp] and this some not fully clear information on the 4 different indices. Written quite some time ago. Russia has been an important additive to the process, since it has far northern regions.
Still editing: from the above link, 1992:
1. Derivation and Representation
The AE index is derived from geomagnetic variations in the horizontal component observed at selected (10-13) observatories along the auroral zone in the northern hemisphere. To normalize the data a base value for each station is first calculated for each month by averaging all the data from the station on the five international quietest days. This base value is subtracted from each value of one-minute data obtained at the station during that month. Then among the data from all the stations at each given time (UT), the largest and smallest values are selected. The AU and AL indices are respectively defined by the largest and the smallest values so selected. The symbols, AU and AL, derive from the fact that these values form the upper and lower envelopes of the superposed plots of all the data from these stations as functions of UT. The difference, AU minus AL, defines the AE index, and the mean value of the AU and AL, i.e. (AU+AL)/2, defines the AO index. The term "AE indices" is usually used to represent these four indices (AU, AL, AE and AO). The AU and AL indices are intended to express the strongest current intensity of the eastward and westward auroral electrojets, respectively. The AE index represents the overall activity of the electrojets, and the AO index provides a measure of the equivalent zonal current.

i live in Inwood WV. Have been having tremmors half of the day now...My mobilr home has been shaking..When im the only one here lying on the couch....I burst has already hit here about 3 months or so ago.....Just dont get earthquakes here.....When this thing gets stranger with pressure you can feel the waves here and you get quakes(tremmors) when it gets week the tremmors stop...No need tho really check it much any more the tremmors let me know wat the storm is doing..Pretty wold...Not enjoying the effects that for sure

Any advice for those of us who are getting dizzy spells from these?
Can we intake anything or go anywhere or cover up with anything that may help?

I wish!!! Only thing that helps me is to move around, the Gammas, solar wind/protons are more intense, when I am sitting quietly or sleeping. Hi Crazy, I thought from your post here, you meant the shaking has been 3 months, and i see now on another for today. Are these completely new then? Observations by the CHAMP satellite have recently revealed wave structure of the neutral density near the solar terminator in the upper atmosphere. The amplitude of the neutral density perturbation associated with a solar terminator wave is of order ±3–6%, and the horizontal wavelength is of order 3000 km. In this study, we examine the excitation mechanism of the solar terminator wave using a general circulation model (GCM) that extends from the ground surface to the exobase. Our result reveals that waves similar to the solar terminator wave observed by the CHAMP satellite are found not only in the thermosphere but also in the stratosphere and mesosphere. The terminator wave is excited in the stratosphere and/or troposphere and propagates upward into the upper thermosphere. Specifically, the solar terminator wave is mainly generated by superposition of the upward propagating migrating tides from zonal wave number 4 to zonal wave number 6. The terminator wave is more prominent during solstice than during equinox. This seasonal variability of the terminator wave is also studied using a GCM simulation. In addition, the maximum temperature perturbation at low latitudes occurs near midnight, indicating a contribution to the midnight temperature maximum in the upper thermosphere. The effect of the terminator wave on the generation of the midnight temperature maximum is examined. The relation between the midnight temperature maximum and the upward propagating migrating tides is also discussed.

HI Dances, I am not so hot this morning either, but not sure what it is yet. I was just checking around, and the induction magnetometer at HARRP had an event of some sort starting just before 0 UTC last evening, peaking around 4 UTC and fading off by 8 UTC. I don't have a clue what this is. I see nothing of interest otherwise through my night.
The Riometer there however does have a large amount of activity approximately the same time on the bottom of the curve, where there is usually not this much, it's more likely at the top of the curve. The ionogram continues to do strange things, but doesn't look 'off' to me this morning. Got to study some day what those little squares are, the color signficance.

The Solar Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) confirms that on July 6, 2009, a very large Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) was emitted by the sun. This was followed by what appears to be a smaller CME being emitted by a solar flare on the morning of July 7, and another large CME emitted on July 8. The CMEs are partial confirmation for a coded prediction found in a crop circle discovered in Milk Hill England that evolved in three stages from June 21 to 30.
The CMEs were captured by the SOHO satellite which is one million miles away from the Earth in the direction of the sun. Located in a stationary equilibrium point between the gravity of the sun and the Earth called a Lagrangian point, SOHO has a number of scientific instruments to monitor the sun’s behavior. The CMEs do not appear to be part of a series headed towards the Earth as initial interpretations of the coded crop circle message suggested. The emergence of the CMEs is, however, a remarkable development since it came right on the July 6/7 lunar eclipse prediction date.
The two SOHO instruments that captured the large CME were LASCO C2 and C3. LASCO stands for Large Angle and Spectrometric Coronagraph. LASCO C2 captures images of the sun’s corona (the area above the sun’s surface) to a distance of 1.5 to 6 solar radii. The radius of the sun is approximately 420,000 miles. LASCO C3 captures images to 3.5 to 30 solar radii. The first image (above) is from LASCO C3 and shows the large CME clearly being emitted in the upper right portion of the sun at 17:18 UTC on July 6. The plasma discharge is clearly visible as a circular ball within the protruding solar flare. A LASCO C3 movie below shows clearly the size of the solar flare and CME emitted on July 6. Interestingly, a large object (the planet Mercury) comes into the images which appears to trigger the CME.
well, looks like that small coronal hole is arriving. oh goody. why don't THEY just stop with all the dramatics and do whatever diabolical things they intend to do. the whole universe is the matrix, and every faction is pulling the puppet strings. it's retarded.
