Experiencing some severe winds here at the moment. A strange warm wind in the middle of winter. What I would like to know is how are these bursts of such extreme enegeries affecting our planet and everything on it... No one really knows, that is why they built the LHC. Nice sized CME, got up to a bit above 1500 on the AO part of the AE Index. That's the second one to do so in the last month. So it was the big CME coming in that made the magnetic field "ball up."

Just because the flare activitiy viewable around the edges isn't very interesting, and there aren't any sunspots and significant active areas, doesn't mean we aren't having CME's. There were 3 SEEN on August 4 as has been posted. Go have a look. If they are coming out the back of the sun, they are coming out the front too. The evidence is obvious.

dude. This is a typical rise with a CME vs a coronal hole windstream. These are from right within our solar system. The big quickie a couple days ago was also a proton blast, this time by star fleet and you can ignore this as long as you like, it won't change what it is. These many CME's of late, large and small and semi duds are the work of star fleet and it has purpose. They were promised by the crop circles, in addition to those I work with.

No, maybe you need to go and learn what CMEs are first before you make stupid comments like that. What evidence? How is it obvious? If there is a CME behind the sun then the CME heads out that way, it doesn't magically turn around and head to Earth. There is ALWAYS a warning issued by various agencies and organizations if a CME was heading for Earth. Back in 2001 the sun was burping out CMEs every day almost, big deal, CMEs are normal and expected. This extended solar minimum is not. Hell, I'd be damn glad if it was a CME, one less anomalous burst to deal with.
With the increase in the wind last might, we have picked up the coronal hole windstream on the tail of the CME. Spaceweather thinks we are in it, we may be. Watch and see. Xenus, copying shit off the net doesn't prove it. There have been many CME's since about mid July or so off the BACK of the sun and they DO show on Stereo and SOHO. AGAIN, there were at least THREE on August 4. Highly visible on Stereo and SOHO. The back and front of the sun are NOT different. We should be having them off the front of the sun. The protons can't be coming from anywhere else way out there someplace in distant systems. Gamma rays yes, protons no.

And then it hit the level of my roofline on my shed early, and then stayed in the same place for 10 minutes. These show earth is having both tilt and rotation issues on my time this morning.
