Holy Shit! LOOK at the Magnetosphere!!

why is this bumped???

Solar wind extremely slow and VERY low density, no activity on the sun, no coronal holes streams hitting Earth and yet something is still interacting with the magnetosphere strongly. Once again pointing out that charged particles not from the sun are interacting strongly with our magnetosphere.

This omega configuration of the pressure graph is common after such events not related to the sun. Since the ACE satellite only measures ions and other charged particles and the magnetosphere only interacts with those, I would have to say this was either some extreme cosmic ray shower from interstellar space or a bit of "fluff" from the cloud on our doorstep.

Massive density spike once again along with a drop in temperature of the plasma above us. While I can only guess what the causes are, I know that it certainly is not the sun.

If this is from the nearby cloud is bad because I felt this impulse. I felt very bad, knew that something must me wrong and check the monitoring sites. If this was only an impulse, I don't want to imagine how I will feel when the entire cloud will cover us. Hmmm ...

Oddly enough, I haven't been checking the sim for a while now, weeks, and I happen to look at the sim RIGHT as the event occurred because I was bored and randomly decided to check the sim... That is why I had the original URL to the image. After refreshing the image about a minute later it was over. If there was a density and temperature plot over time, say months, I wonder if there is any kind of pattern or frequency of such events. This event would be easy to find because the density spike is always accompanied with a drop in temperature, a very extreme and sharp drop.

In replying to another post just now I realized that the cloud could indeed be the cause of these bursts of charged particles aka cosmic rays. Magnetic fields are known to accelerate particles in our atmosphere, on the sun, other stars and black holes and centers of galaxies.

Charged interstellar matter some people may call cosmic rays (although the name is a misnomer) shooting into our solar system and interacting with our sun and everything inside the solar system. The solar system is gaining matter, growing? It's on such a large scale, the density of the matter would be fairly low, so to us the process would not be fully visible and comprehensible unless you look at the entire heliosphere boundary which lays much, much further than the outer planets.

wow. im feeling so crappy. headache, throwing up. weak. i woke up with blurred vision. husband and i could not sleep last night. i thought it was lack of sleep until i got up and seen this was happening.
i've taken a few lortabs. that helped. but. i feel worse now then before i took them.

Lay off dense foods like Pork, Beef and Lamb. Chicken and Fish is better for they are lighter but the best is fruits and vegetables.
