Scorpion Skewers

A friend just went to China and witness people eating scorpion snacks. They put the scorpions on skewer sticks and sell it on a roadside stall. One stick has 4-5 scorpions.

My friend, out of curiosity, bought one skewer while watching people munch on them like eating Cheetos. Families, kids, old people, enjoying the scorpion skewers like eating some Halloween candy.

So my friend took a bite. He said "It tastes like deep fried crab. The scorpion meat tastes like crab meat..but the color is grey-black"

Quebec is OK..( at least they have guts) its Ontario that thinks they are the ruling province. I hate it that us westerners really don't have our votes counted as its alwasy decided before our polls even close.
As far as many Asians in BC..lots came before HK reverted to China..lots bought houses, put their kids in them and enfolled themin high school, then went back to China, leaving the kids alone. Many international students come to our universities and just dissapear into the landscape too.

Certain parts of China, Quandong province especially, will eat anything and everything. That's where Sars came from. They dont even care if its dead--frying fish while they are still alive. Its a great big incubator for disease-people even spit on the sidewalks and clear their noses on it too.
I can understand why they want to get out of there--just too many people and some truly disgusting habits and abysmal social conditions(though they arent the only place with them).

But its getting ridiculous with the influx of chinese. I live outside of Vancouver-in a city near the US border and the number of chinese here are incredible. They own most stores(I thought that in order to gain entry one had to show they were going to contribute to the economy, hence the reason they buy stores when they arrive), and you can go for a walk on a main street and likely to pass by 3 or 4 chinese in ten minutes.
They say Vancouver will be the first Asianified city in 20 years and half the population will be Eurasian.
The multiculturalism label in Canada just means we have no real national identity. Quebec does, not sure why. Britain was concerned about it joining the US in the 1770s so they did what they could to appease them.
I have a friend in the Mid West US who visited Windsor and was shocked with all the white guys with asian women walking around. I said, come to BC if you want to see whites with chinese.

I've lived across Canada and the U.S. but I prefer living in West Coast (BC) Canada because of the multicultural diversity which, much like my other home in Hawaii, is a wonderful blend of people from everywhere living together in harmony. Racial prejudice and strife is in the bigoted minority groups who scapegoat their failures to race issues.

Cosmopolitan civilizations have always prospered over xenophobic and isolated enclaves of the fearful.
