Canada has always had a large Asian population, the Chinese built the cross-country railroad. More than that, when Hong Kong reverted to China in 1997, many HK Chinese came here. With the dissolving British empire, we have loads of folks from former Commonwealth countries, so lots of Indians, Jamaicans, and Hong Kong folks. Not unusual at all. And for some weird reason, Japanese people really LOVE British Columbia, there are always loads and loads of Japanese tourists here any time of the year, go figure.

The question is why do so many foreigners leave their home countries to relocate to western nations where they will always be the out of place and a minority? Don't they posess a natural love of their homelands? White Guilt

You are misinformed by liberal propa-bullshite. For most of Canada`s existence we were 97-98% European. The chinese HELPED build portions of our railroad (CPR). They did not build it solely, as you appear to state. My great great grandfather and his brother helped build our railroad right into Vancouver. My family (members of The Royal Engineers)also helped settle New Westminster, the first capital of BC. All of the many many visual records I have seen show far less asians than european. We built this nation as with all prospered developed nations. Asian and South Asian immigration is merely a vote getting tool initially used by Liberals (Pearson/Trudeau) in the 60`s and 70`s to stay in power, and is now used by all parties. Multiculturalism is the failed experiment thought up by Trudeau as his way of slapping our cherished British Heritage in the face. It worked....multiculturalism promoted countries WITHIN countries (hence Chinese Richmond/Punjabi Surrey/South Vancouver. ALL other countries love Canada....not because it is beautiful, but because we give taxpayer money away to people who never contribute, like old fart chinese and rags....who are sponsored to come here and recieve free $$$ for nothing. Check out the emerg room sometime in Vancouver, and you will see sick (and not sick) immigrants who give nothing to our system and just take endlessly.
