Government mandated that unions take in minorities back in the 1980's.
Unions found a few minorities who wanted to work and now their children and relatives are also union members.
Reich must be referring to non-union companies who mostly work illegal aliens and un-educated native born.
Government can mandate restrictions of spending of federal funds.
I worked once for 6 months because of being a veteran.
End of the 6 months, they got rid of me and got another veteran, for the same job, just to continue paying less (out of pocket) by using the federal subsidy.
During the Clinton years.
Businesses got tax breaks for putting people to work. |

It does not work and contractors go broke. Jobs do not get done properly, nor on time. You also have to pay laborers union wage scale. The city canceled this policy after many years of running into extreme over costs.

I know all "you people" want to turn this into something its not but let me explain it to you.
The mentality here (from these politicians) is that the great majority of the problem workers (white construction workers high skilled workers) will be taken care of by market forces.
Meaning they will find new jobs because this group does not generally have problems with finding jobs.
History has shown us this time and time again.
What is being said here is that this time (not trickle down style) part of the economic recovery should TARGET the groups who will not be taken care of by the free market (long term unemployed, single mothers etc.)

One other note. What you have copy/pasted shows CORPORATE greed, not whitey greed. Learn to keep the 2 separate.
What they also did that you failed to bring to light is got rid of piece work. That alone cut MANY machinists income down by a 1/3 if not more. They also got rid of production bonus'.
Basically, what was done is a large company can shitcan an employee and bring in someone for far less expense and have them trained in very little time. Less time down and easier to regain the lost production. More money into the greedy Corps pocket, not the hardworking "whitey' you racist POS.
This policy doesn't only affect minorities, it affects EVERYONE. Race does not play a part in CORPORATE GREED. |
