America’s Horoscope for 2009
These predictions are based on a new horoscope for the USA rectified for the late afternoon of July 2nd 1776. I am presenting these predictions here in a public, time-stamped way so as to provide demonstrable proof not only that this is the correct chart for our nation, but also proof of astrology itself. Is that ambitious enough?
I am about 3/4 of the way through writing a book about all this, which I expect to be released in mid-2010. The first chapter of the book is online now at [link to www.divisiontheory.com]
Yes, hard times are coming. Most folks here at GLP know that already, but lack a road map for where and when to duck. I hope to be able to provide a part of that, and things are too dangerous for our nation for me to selfishly wait until the book is on sale to do so. I may just go ahead and put the whole damn thing online for free. We’ll see.
Anyway, the nation’s chart says that things get pretty freaking bad between now and 2016, and then things start to level off and finally improve. More importantly, the chart says that 2009 will have three crisis points for our nation :
Jan 25 - Feb 21
Mar 21 - May 14
Sept 1 - Sept 28
The first period, I’d originally assumed, was just the government getting itself going under the new Obama administration, and starting a lot of momentous new initiatives and suchlike, but the news that California will stop issuing welfare checks on Feb 1st falls into this time window, and so I have to think that those warnings are not incorrect, and we will see some developments then. However, I don’t see anything that indicates any serious violence or rioting occurs then. Instead, it looks like the US Government may generously step in and throw some money to California. There will be some confusion and disorder, but nothing too terrible. The national government seems very proactive during this time window, and generous.
The second period is a bigger concern. The chart makes it clear that a fairly major new development in the financial crisis occurs then, some real disturbing financial news arrives then, and the whole nation gets pretty upset and scared in late March and early April, but then in later April the government gets creative and original and seems to do something impressive to deal with the crisis, and things calm down around the nation for a few more months. The threads here at GLP about the US Government taking over the Fed in March would not be entirely inconsistent with what I’m seeing in this chart, although I see the government’s reaction occurring more in April and even May than in March.
The third period is far and away the greatest concern of the year. It unfortunately seems to describe open violence on Main Street in America, very dramatic and ugly. I’ve almost convinced myself that it will arrive sometime around September 9th - 14th. I suppose it is possible that what I am seeing is a hurricane, as that is the time of year for them, or even possibly a terrorist attack, but my first impression is more along the lines of some sort of fairly extreme domestic unrest. The remainder of the year looks fairly troubled, with a pleasant breather in January 2010. However, while I say “troubled”, I think that the violence subsides a lot in October, but may re-emerge again for a bit in November, and then drops again in December. But even when the violence has subsided, the nation is still in what seems to be rather great distress from Oct - Dec of this year.
More long-term, the economy does not completely collapse immediately. It is a process. People will still have money in the banks in 2010, 2011, and 2012. It doesn’t all disappear or disintegrate, at least not before 2012. But then 2013 through 2015, oh man, that’s gonna be some bad times. |

Things calm down a bit again in May and June 2010.
The biggest crisis of 2010 arrives in July. Very bad times then for the general public. The government responds dramatically in August, but September is just a sea of disorder and confusion.
Things get alot better in October 2010, much calmer and more tolerable. People are breathing sighs of relief and are even smiling again in November. December will see some trouble or violence in the heartland, but it will be on a moderate scale.
January 2011 is going to suck big time, but after that, things seem to get alot better. February, March, and April 2011 are actually quite pleasant. |

In 2010 and early 2011, the US gets its hopes up about some new plan or initiative that is supposed to fix everything. There is alot of happiness and relief in the population over this, and confidence increases. The plan fails in the end.
It is not until the second half of 2011, however, that this crisis really starts to seriously disrupt the average American's day to day life, but from then through the Spring of 2017, almost everyone will be in extreme crisis mode here. |

Why that date? The traditionally recognized date of July 4th gives an Aquarius moon...which seems about right, Cancer sun, Aqu. moon works. What do you say is the moon of the US? Surly not Capricorn! I could maybe see a Sag. moon, but Aquarius fits our ethics of universal brotherhood and emancipation, our progressiveness, spirit of independence and innovation and nicely balances the emotionality of the Cancer sun.
Some say July 4th was chosen to mark the anniversary and final victory of the Templars in creating a new society based on Liberty overturning their greatest defeat at the hand of the Sarasens...on July 4th. |

The second vote on July 4th was not on the decision itself, but on how to present that decision to the public in any official document. The vote itself was cast two days earlier.
When Britain’s King George III rejected the American colonies’ Olive Branch Petition in 1775, the colonists were finally forced to admit to themselves that there were only two choices left, and both were terrible : to either unconditionally submit to brutal domination by Britain, or to risk everything they had to fight for their independence and freedom. On the afternoon of July 2, 1776, the American people finally determined which of these two paths they would take when the Continental Congress passed the Lee Resolution:
“Resolved, That these United Colonies are, and of right ought to be, free and independent States, that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain is, and ought to be, totally dissolved.”
The colonists’ decision to sever all ties with their British motherland is perfectly reflected in the Moon-Pluto conjunction in the skies that afternoon. Moon conjunct Pluto can either point to a mother who either symbolically or literally “kills” her children, or a child who “kills” its parent, but the underlying theme is the same – the total dissolution of the child’s tie to home and mother. Psychologically, this act is very powerful. If a human being killed his mother, that act would obviously have repercussions that haunted him for the rest of his life. One likely effect, however, would be the empowering conclusion “If I can do this terrible thing, I can probably do anything else as well. Nothing is beyond me now.” And just like people, nations also have their own psychology, and in 1776, this decision to break free of Britain’s bonds must have been a tremendously frightening and awesome move that made a permanent impression on the nation’s psyche, one which still shapes our behavior and attitudes today. What was that impression? “I am powerful and dangerous! Do not mess with me! I would even kill my own mother if necessary!” The nation’s first flags carried the same message, along with a very Plutonian symbol – a coiled rattlesnake. Later, we would switch our National Symbol to yet another Plutonian character – the Eagle (Pluto rules the sign Scorpio, and the three classical symbols for Scorpio are a scorpion, an eagle, and a serpent).
The primary focal point of the July 2nd chart is this Moon-Pluto conjunction, which is in Capricorn, in the Second House. This conjunction is all alone on one side of the chart, with all the other planets grouped up against it on the opposite side of the chart. This makes the already potent Moon-Pluto conjunction the most powerful and sensitive point in the whole chart. And it fits. In a nation’s horoscope, the Moon represents the people, the public, the masses, and Pluto represents ultimate, absolute power, so this chart is perfectly placed in the chart of the world’s first modern democracy “of the people, by the people, and for the people”. This chart’s Moon-Pluto conjunction indicates a great empowerment of the masses, which as we know was the primary purpose of this new nation. But this same conjunction also represents extreme, ruthless, absolute control of the people, as well as an entire people’s terrible self-destruction and rebirth, and those too are consistent with America’s history. Moon conjunct Pluto is reflective of both the inhuman slavery of the 18th and 19th centuries, and also the horrific war we put ourselves through to break free of that institution. Moon conjunct Pluto suggests that our nation possesses bitter and sensitive emotional wounds, but also that our people can be expected to continually evolve and self-transform as a result of that pain. Moon conjunct Pluto indicates a traumatized people who live in fear, but also a people that feels an urgent need to acquire ever greater control of the world around it in response to that fear. A nation with Moon conjunct Pluto will be one whose people carry a tremendous amount of pain, anxiety, and grief within themselves, but it will also be a nation of indomitable will, a people that throws themselves fully and utterly into any project or mission they set for themselves. A nation with this aspect will be obsessive in many ways; it will have tremendous focus, drive, and determination, but it will also be highly prone to paranoia, and it will wrestle with some very serious hangups and psychological issues, especially when it comes to the subject of sex. It will be a nation of dark secrets, a nation capable of going to any extreme or violating any principle or treaty to achieve its goals, a nation not merely capable of mass murder (Hiroshima and Nagasaki), but one that sometimes seems to breed mass murderers by the truckload. It will be a people who fiercely love their guns, a nation that stockpiles the most dangerous weapons imaginable and then goes looking for more. It will be a populace that not only knows that disturbing things happen in secret behind closed doors, but who accept such things as normal and teach their children to play it safe, turn away and not ask too many questions. But at the same time, it will also be a nation capable of the noblest self-sacrifice, a nation capable of plunging directly into an inferno if that is what it takes to achieve its goals. A people with Moon conjunct Pluto can stare unflinchingly into the heart of darkness without being intimidated or swayed from their chosen path. |

Obama’s Sun is on the US Node, which means that he enjoys great popularity here.
Obama’s Moon is conjunct the US Uranus, which means that he is seen as a personal symbol of America’s desire for change, freedom, independence, and innovation.
His Venus is conjunct the US Venus-Jupiter conjunction, which means that he finds it easy to spend the US money, and hard to conserve it.
His Mars is conjunct the US Neptune, which means that he will be involved in undercover ops somehow, either directing them or as their target. It also suggests that most of his efforts will end up being failures and bringing losses. His Mars is also square the US Mars, which means that he will be a War President, despite his stated intentions to bring US troops home again.
And his Jupiter-Saturn conjunction is conjunct the 2nd house US Moon-Pluto, and opposite the 8th house US Mercury, which means that he will exasperate the current financial crisis instead of healing it. |

Israel will continue to try to exercise restraint thru Feb 8, but it will be shaky until then. Peace is more steady from Feb 8 - March 7. Things get more dicey in March, but no large-scale aggression occurs. Israel is in a very accommodating mood in May, and may make major compromises then.
Israel makes some serious mistakes and miscalculations between May 2009 - May 2010, and weakens its position and security because of them.
October and November 2009 are very hard for Israel. October will bring great sadness, November brings renewed anger. Life becomes much harder for the populace in Israel in November, probably due to lack of supplies. December could see a resumption of limited hostilities, but still not on the same scale as occurred in January. February 2010 will see major new aggressions and warfare by Israel. In March 2010 the aggressions continue, and Israel, as usual, enjoys great success. The aggressions continue through April and part of May. Peace arrives in May or June, but the Israeli people are really hurting and lacking by then. Peace continues thru June, but war returns in August in a big way.
All this is prologue. Israel’s real troubles begin between May 2011 - May 2012, which will be a year of war, hardship, and fear unlike anything they’ve known for some time. They will NOT feel like they have everything under control. They will feel scared, and will be in a mood to make very tough choices if necessary. They will feel desperate, and there will be conflict within their borders.
The following year will also be one of war, but Israel will then feel more victorious, and less desperate. The year after that will be one of great hardship and fear for the people, but there will be little or no fighting going on.
The year after that, May 2014 - may 2015, will bring a climax to all these developments in Israel. Israel finds itself in the middle of a serious financial crisis that year, which makes sense, because America subsidizes Israel, and if the US goes broke, then Israel can no longer function, because it is not self-sufficient. That weakness will come home to roost in 2014-2015. Israel will flip-flop very quickly from a state of absolute peace to one of total all-out war in these two years. In the Spring and early Summer of 2014, all will be thinking that peace has finally been achieved, and the nation will be celebrating. But before that summer is over, a bigger war will come to Israel than anything it has been in before, and that war will rage at least until early 2016. |

Possibly end of the USA as an autonomous nation between 2159-2186, but I'm not sure about that. Something tremendous occurs then. Either we collapse and cease to exist, or we achieve something magnificent beyond imagining then. |

It will not be accompanied by immediate wide-scale rioting, although some of that may come in late March or April. The nation will not be particularly scared by this development at first, but may become more alarmed in late March or April.
This change will probably also increase the size of the US Government to some degree. It will be viewed as a bold and even aggressive move, and it will succeed, at least for the duration of these 28 days.
The US Government will not compromise with other nations or powers during this window, but will instead exercise its power to impose its will and make unilateral demands. |
