In 2022-2025, America’s July 2nd chart has a Superconjunction. And not just any Superconjunction, but one of the biggest ones in the history of our nation. This aspect is so powerful, it is like an astrological black hole, drawing all our current events in its direction.
A “superconjunction” is a conjunction of two of the following in the progressed or Solar Arc charts: the Ascendant, Midheaven, Sun or Moon. In the July 2nd US chart, the most powerful of these four would be the Moon, as the Moon is the most powerful component of the chart, due to it being both tightly conjunct another body, AND being the focus of a “bucket pattern” in the chart.
So any Superconjunction involving the Moon would be more powerful than any of the other possible Superconjunctions. So far, America’s July 2nd chart has had only 12 Superconjunctions since 1776:
1. Solar Arc Ascendant conjunct Moon-Pluto, Dec 1820 - Dec 1821
2. Progressed Ascendant conjunct Moon-Pluto, July 1823 - April 1825
3. Progressed Sun conjunct Midheaven, Oct 1862

5. Progressed Sun conjunct Ascendant, Jan 1933
6. Solar Arc Moon-Pluto conjunct Sun, Mar 1942 - Feb 1943
7. Progressed Ascendant conjunct Sun, July 1945
8. Progressed Sun conjunct Moon-Pluto, Nov 1974 - Oct 1975
9. Solar Arc Ascendant conjunct Sun, Nov 1984
10. Progressed Pluto conjunct Moon, Feb 1990
Each of these Superconjunctions coincided with watershed events in our national development, but none of them is equal to the Superconjunction to take place in the early 2020's, for that aspect is surrounded by two other major aspects : Mars conjunct ASC, 2020 and MC conjunct Uranus, 2022.
The nearby Superconjunction will magnify and empower these two aspects, flooding them with more power and potential than they would have otherwise carried. They will, in effect, channel the strength of the Superconjunction. In the case of the Uranus aspect, this channeling effect continues, because it is one of a long line of strong Uranus aspects:
A total of eleven powerful Uranus aspects occur between 2007 - 2022! Solar Arc Uranus started this series off conjoining Moon-Pluto in 2007, and then makes a semisquare to the Ascendant in June 2009. Solar Arc Ascendant sextiles Uranus in Dec 2011, Progressed Sun makes a Square to Progressed Uranus in October 2013, Solar Arc Uranus trines Midheaven in Dec 2013, Progressed Sun makes a Square to Natal Uranus in August 2015, Progressed Ascendant makes a Square to Progressed Uranus in November 2016, and then Progressed Ascendant makes a Square to Natal Uranus in December 2018. Finally, Progressed Midheaven makes a Conjunction to Progressed Uranus in September 2020, Solar Arc Uranus inconjoins the Sun in October 2020, and then Progressed Midheaven makes another Conjunction to Natal Uranus in 2022. This extraordinary grouping of Uranus aspects is tremendously magnified and empowered by the Superconjunction at the end of the series in 2024-2025; that Superconjunction will channel its energy into this whole series of Uranian aspects, insuring that the entire period from 2007-2022 will be a uniquely Uranian period in American history.
As we can see, this process has already begun, with the revolutionary Democratic campaigns of the first woman and the first Black, and then the revolutionary win of the first Black President.
But this 15-year-long string of Uranus aspects will not end there. In fact, the Uranian energy ought to just keep increasing more and more until the climax in 2024-2025.
More long-term, the economy does not completely collapse immediately. It is a process. People will still have money in the banks in 2010, 2011, and 2012. It doesn’t all disappear or disintegrate, at least not before 2012. But then 2013 through 2015, oh man, that’s gonna be some bad times.

This is based upon a rectified afternoon July 2nd 1776 chart for the US, which is only useful for monitoring the fate of the US. Any "world war" that does not include the US would not be reflected in this chart. I reaffirm that this chart indicates that things in the US will keep getting worse and worse from now through 2016. 2017 and 2018 will be bad as well, but the general arc of events will peak in 2016-2018 and be getting better after that. While things will be quite bad in 2017, that year will include some very-long waited-for hope and optimism, which will be a break in clouds that had remained for many years to that point.
I would say that the US is at war from 2013 - 2016, but others might feel that the war starts as early as 2011. It is semantics. However, that being said, the US will undergo a very funamental revision of the structure of its government in 2020-2025, and some might feel that this revision would constitute a "death and rebirth" of the nation itself. Again, semantics.
What tools am I using? Primarily transits, progressions, arcs, and return charts. I give little attention to midpoints or fixed stars.
I give tremendous attention and weight to Secondary Progressed Lunar Returns and Tertiary Progressed Lunar Returns. They tell the whole tale all by themselves, although the other tools fill in the details and fine-tune the timing.

2012 will bring a big change, but it won't be the end of the world.
In the US chart, the natal Moon-Pluto will conjoin Neptune by Solar Arc progression in 2012. This means that it will be a time of profound spiritual re-evaluation for our nation. Like of like an alcoholic who has one final crisis and realizes that he genuinely has hit rock bottom, and knows he has to make a decision and effect a big change if he wishes to survive.
The events of 2012 will psychologically shake us to our cores, but it won't be an extinction event or anything like that.

Part of this book will focus on reintroducing an ancient astrological tool : the Progressed Lunar Return.
Astrology conveniently and naturally divides America’s history into distinct generation-sized eras via Lunar Returns in the Secondary Progressed Chart. Since Pluto was conjunct the Moon in America’s natal chart, all its progressed and transiting aspects should be especially strong. Transiting Pluto has made just three aspects to America’s Sun since 1776 : a square in 1831-1835, a conjunction in 1921-1925, and another square in 1974-1977. The 1831-1835 square coincided with Nat Turner’s Rebellion, the first assassination attempt against a US President, and the start of the Texas Revolution. The conjunction in 1921-1925 coincided with the rise to power of Hitler, Mussolini, and Stalin, the beginnings of organized crime violence from Prohibition, a rash of terrorist bombings, and the infamous Palmer Raids. The 1975-1977 square coincided with more political bombings (the US State Department in January 1975 and LaGuardia Airport in Dec 1975), more Presidential assassination attempts (two separate attempts on President Ford in September 1975), and more governmental abuses of power (the Watergate trials in Jan-Feb 1975, the Rockefeller Commission’s report about CIA domestic abuses in June 1975, and the 1977 Senate hearings on the CIA’s illegal MKULTRA mind-control project).
During the first Pluto-Sun aspect, Nat Turner’s Rebellion terrified America, sparking a brutal retaliatory campaign of violence and repression against America’s black population. The second aspect found America simultaneously terrified by the rise of overseas dictators as well as all the organized crime violence, political bombings, and mass arrests going on at home. The third aspect’s revelations about CIA involvement in the Watergate scandal, LSD experiments on unwitting subjects, and other illegal domestic abuses again made many Americans fearful of their own government, especially after Project MKULTRA was implicated in the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy and the mass murder-suicides at Jonestown.
The next aspect in this series of transits will occur when Pluto opposes America’s Sun just a few years from now, in 2012-2015. If our past history is any indication, these years may again bring Plutonian manifestations similar to those listed above. Whenever Pluto is activated, our national sense of fear and danger dramatically increases, and during the previous Pluto transits in this series, both our populace and our government have responded to that fear by going to extreme lengths to achieve and maintain control. Because the 2012-2015 aspect is an opposition, its manifestations are likely to be stronger than those during the squares, and could approach or perhaps even surpass the levels seen during the 1921-1925 conjunction.
This will be the second major Pluto ASPECT to occur since 9-11. The first after 9-11 was the square from Solar Arc Pluto to the Ascendant, which arrived during the Hurricane Katrina disaster. But this opposition from Pluto to the Sun is the first major Pluto TRANSIT since 9-11, and so it could conceivably coincide with another round of terrorist attacks on American soil similar to those that occurred when transiting Pluto conjoined the Ascendant in 2001. It could also coincide with more mass arrests, political violence, or oppressive abuses of governmental power similar to what occurred during the Palmer Raids in the 1920's.

The Depression digs in harder and harder over the next two years. The government tries to spend its way out of it, but it doesn’t work. Suffering among the masses becomes acute, and crime rises dramatically across the board in 2009-2011.
Between 2011 - 2015, a magnificent and inspiring new leader emerges in America, and directs our nation’s resources into lofty and ambitious pursuits, but all the while, the suffering of our people increases. Starvation becomes a serious problem here in America between 2011 - 2013, and many perish.
Between 2013 - 2015, the remaining citizens here will have become hardened, cold, and fierce by their suffering.
The market will generally rise from now thru February and part of March. We see that beginning today. That trend will continue until the shock arrives in late March.

America’s chart has Secondary Progressed Ascendant sextile Venus on Feb 13th, Solar Arc Jupiter sesquiquadrate Sun on March 6th and Progressed Jupiter semisquare Ascendant on March 9th, which promise that the next weeks will be characterized by a sense of joy and victory rather than mourning and grief, which tells us here at GLP that the Obama Inauguration will NOT be accompanied by any disaster. These aspects instead promise that Obama’s inauguration will be the spectacle most everyone hopes for, but at the same time they also promise that the early weeks of the new administration will be filled with some very extravagant spending, with money flowing thru their hands like water. And the markets should do relatively well for awhile, through most of February at least.
So far so good.
No catastrophes at the Inauguration. Check.
First days of Obama's administration see tremendous spending. Check.

Tomorrow begins a 28-day window that will bring one of the biggest developments of the year for America. Between Sunday Jan 25 and Saturday Feb 21, a fairly momentous change will take place within the American Government. It will be the dawn of a new era, and will bring substantially increased power and authority to the Federal Government.

Interior Secretary threw a major body blow today to the energy industry and its rampant duplicity. Interior's Minerals Management Service (MMS) is perhaps the most important place in the government where reserves estimates and production data for everything from coal, to oil, to natural gas is compiled and reported. It has been one of the biggest fountainheads of lies giving the naysay to Peak Oil. In the last year a series of stories broke about how, throughout the Bush years MMS was lobbied by the energy giants with ounces of cocaine, gaggles of prostitutes and lavish getaways to spew the lies now so deeply rooted in the general American consciousness. You know, we'll never run out of anything and we've been using everything for a hundred years and there's still plenty left.
You can bet that at least a dozen from MMS deserve to go to prison... and they will. Salazar made it pretty clear that he's going in with steel wool to do some scouring. The energy industry is on notice. I dunno. I expected this from Salazar and I have to say that after the first eight days, I'm pretty impressed with the Obama administration.

Monday mornings almost always show a tick up as funds made in international exchanges are funneled into the US exchanges. As far as the market slipping midday, well look at what reports are due out mid morning from the various government agencies and other indicating entities. The rise Tuesday is due to any spin that the feelgood people can put on the bad news.
Fall on the 5th and 6th is again no big suprise as profits are taken based on the spin and the normal Friday profit taking.
For crying out loud, quit trying to pull the wool over people's eyes. Anyone with a modest understanding of the market can see through your curtain of smoke. Birth would either be 17 Sept 1787, when the Constitutional Convention completed the US Constitution and ratified it with the nine states represented at said convention OR you should use 04 March, 1789 when the actual GOVERNMENT under the US Constitution came into effect.
See, the Nation did not truly exist until the Supreme Law of the Land went into effect. Up until the Constitution took effect, we had a poorly written Articles of Confederation, which only barely linked the rougue colonies together. The Articles of Confederation had no real power or authority and certainly did nothing for a central government.
My point is that you can't have your cake and eat it too. You either have the wrong chart or you have done every other chart wrong because you worked offof actual birth instead of conception.
America's chart insists that Obama's huge economic recovery package will be accepted before long, and shortly thereafter the markets will rise noticeably for a few months, until the next shock in late March or April.

A mighty eruption is happening this year and the great emergence will come to be in the world by the end of the Saturn in Virgo transit. This transit is the Black Madonna, those that live in duality are still in a very dark corridor until the end of 2010.
