As for this swine flu :

America’s chart’s current Lunar Return of April 17 has a quadruple conjunction of MC-Venus-Mars-Uranus, all square Pluto in the 6th. This accurately reflects the government’s excited and sudden (Uranus) energetic ramping up (Venus-Mars) of activities and programs (MC) over a health threat (Pluto in the 6th). However, this chart contains no signatures of any mass fatalities or widespread grief or mourning during this period (April 17 - May 14), so it doesn't seem like the flu will prove to be the killer it is feared to be during this period.

The next month’s LR of May 14 (covering May 14 - June 11) features the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction sitting on the Nadir and square Sun-Mercury in the 7th. This suggests that, instead of a deadly pandemic filling body bags, next month will bring a sense of great relief to America’s homes and families, and that a formidable public relations campaign will accompany or even push that sense of relief. Again, there is no signature of mass deaths/grief/mourning, so my prediction is that thru June 11, this flu remains mostly non-fatal.

In fact, after the excitement of the April 17 Lunar Return, America's Lunar Returns are actually fairly mild until September, when all hell breaks loose as I discussed here earlier. The September chart indicates violence and pain and frantic action. I'd earlier thought this was from social unrest related to the New Depression, but the arrival of the flu raises the possibility that this will be the time of a new flu outbreak, and/or a forced vaccination program. Dunno, but whatever it is, September is gonna suck big time.

The second period is a bigger concern. The chart makes it clear that a fairly major new development in the financial crisis occurs then, some real disturbing financial news arrives then, and the whole nation gets pretty upset and scared in late March and early April, but then in later April the government gets creative and original and seems to do something impressive to deal with the crisis, and things calm down around the nation for a few more months. The threads here at GLP about the US Government taking over the Fed in March would not be entirely inconsistent with what I’m seeing in this chart, although I see the government’s reaction occurring more in April and even May than in March.
