Magnitude 6.1 Quake Shakes Southern Alaska
ANCHORAGE, Alaska —

A strong earthquake rattled Alaska's Cook Inlet but there have been no reports of damage.

Alaska State Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters says the agency's 911 dispatch center in Soldotna received numerous calls alerting officials to the earthquake just after 9 a.m. Saturday.

The U.S. Geological Survey rated the quake at magnitude 6.1 and the West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center gave it a preliminary magnitude of 5.7.

No tsunami warning was generated by the event.

The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says the earthquake was centered about 45 miles southwest of Homer.

Re: Magnitude 6.1 Quake Shakes Southern Alaska
They did a study with RNG/consciousness studies and earthquakes. What they did was compare RNGs s in populated vs. sparsely populated areas with Mag 6+ earthquake activity. What they found was from 2-8 hrs before an earthquake the RNGs in populated areas showed more coherence (less random) but in the sparsely populated areas that coherence didn't occur.

Dean Radin talks about it the vid below at about an hour into it.
