Quoting: Anonymous Coward 600770Is my dog sensing some shortage of food soon and making the necessary preparations? I had a dog that did that too. And if we saw where he was hiding it, he moved it to a different location. |

Read a book on dogs and figure it out. His natural behavior can be stopped but don't be mean about it. Just use positive reinforcement. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 516120I really don't mind it. It doesn't really bother me. I'll heed the advice of another poster and supply my dog with a little less food. I really cannot say what kind of dog she is. She is a short legged fat and long dog. She is great though. Real loving and loyal. |

Hoarding behaviors can occur in a variety of psychiatric disorders but are most commonly found in dogs with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Those dogs who report compulsive hoarding as their primary type of OCD, experience significant distress or functional impairment from their hoarding. They have symptoms of indecisiveness, procrastination, and avoidance, are classified as having compulsive hoarding syndrome. |

She loved to take good food and bury it, let it rot for a few days, then dig it up and eat it. Aaaack!!! Never seemed to hurt her, she had a cast-iron stomach and was healthy and lived a good long life. One time a redneck guy pointed at my dog and said, "look that dog is half a dog tall and two dogs long!" Hey she's a survivor. She'll eat anything. The day may come real soon when we all need to do that. |

But only these certain type of biscuits I give to her. The rest she eats. This one she saves and saves and keeps moving it to different locations. It's funny to watch. One time I went to bed and found it under my pillow. Genesis 3:15: "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." The Nephilim "seed" are TPTB.
