Help! How can you tell if someone has Dissociative Identity Disorder?

This girl I know not all that well from phone chats, internet chats, and one short face to face meeting seems to have some sort of mental problem. I never can quite put my finger on what it is but Im beginning to think she has split personalities or something similar. We will always be in the middle of making plans to do something or just talking and she will abruptly just stop responding or hang up and not answer the phone or call back. One time I dont think she even remembered she had been talking to me. She acts very childlike too like not in attitude she actually I believe thinks she is a little kid sometimes. She is in her early 20's. Does she have split personality?

She will stop responding to my messages or calls for about a day or two like she doesn't want to talk to me or something so I let it go and see if she will stop messaging me. Sure enough she messages me again like nothing ever happened and wants to do something sometime and the cycle repeats. I would block her and ignore her messages but she is very attractive and Im not a very social person so I dont exactly get lots of dates with attractive women.

DID is actually pretty rare. In fact in the mental health community there are plenty that dispute that the condition exists at all. There are many reasons that she could be behaving odd that have nothing to do with having a split personality. She could be in a relationship or married. She could also be a 350lb trucker named Joe. She could be yanking your chain. The list goes on.

When she gets close enough, go in for the kill.
