why dont birds fly to the moon, i know i would if i were a bird?

A complete lack of worms, grubs and seeds. Despite birds magical ability to fly in a vacuum, its the lack of interesting lunar food that keeps them earth bound.

When I was a bird I tried it but my wings got covered in ice and I fell back to earth.

1) Birds wings don't work in a vacuum.
2) Birds couldn't breath in a vacuum.
3) They'd fry on one side and freeze on the other.
4) They'd explode.
5) There are no items on the moon they wouldn't want to eat
anyway.

Quite elementary dear watson. The moon is but only a hologram and its visible much more clearer at night when the birds are sound asleep. Now a bat strapped with a critter-cam could potentialy get a nice close-up of that fake ass moon.

there is a giant bird colony there

All birds go there on a mass religious pilgramage .

it takes between 1 and 2 years to fly there
and many do not complete the journey due to the dangers
of bird space flight
