I don't like him or dislike him, he's too boring to elicit any sort of emotion out of me. I guess his positive trait is if you're having trouble trying to sleep at night, just turn on his show and it's lights out. He's like a human Ambien. I never really appreciated how good of a broadcaster Art Bell was until he stopped doing the show. When I first heard Coast to Coast, I was kicking myself for not being the first to think of hosting a late night radio show and talking about crazy stuff with all sorts of nuts. However, as entertaining and witty as I imagine myself to be, I don't think I could have done as good a job as Art. He knew how to make the bizarre and ridiculous very captivating and believable. And he occasionally indicated that he had a sense of humor about his job, as well. I do think I would be a much better radio personality than George Noory, though. |

The good guests avoid sNoory like the plague, knowing that he'll talk about 'no coincidences' and '11:11' regardless of what the topic is. It's like he's on repeat, doing the same show over and over again, regardless of the guest or the subject matter. The market is ripe for a rival late night show, sNoory would get blown off the air if George Knapp was given a competing show. That man's got skillz. |
