I think the caves at Bora Bora, Afghanistan are quite good for the purpose... And may be also some other mountains like Urals and in Paraguay somewhere (far from the seas).

If we dig bunkers on the "reverse slope" from where the tidal waves are expected, we are right.. Just get deep enough and store enough food and ammo. By about 2015 the world will be OK we hope.

Best to do your research quietly and find a group of like minded individuals and not reveal your location. Other wise when TSHTF you might find Obama administration officials showing up at your doorstep to take your guns and collect your food and material stores under the pretext of illegal hoarding.

But you'd probably need to be quite rich, and hide your activities inside a maze of shell and holding companies, using blindfolded and drugged workers who are shipped in to the work site to do small, and specific tasks, then shipped out with fat cash paychecks and bonuses.

definately the south island of new zealand, in milford sound, its a fjord.
you wont need to dig though, there is only one way in, through a tunnel, easily blocked so no one can get in, it is completely sheltered, self sustainable, fresh water from a glacier waterfall that happens to run the towns generator, heaps of wild deer, pigs, birds etc, heaps of seafood. and has its own small airfield.
Ans an old hotel is there that isnt in use, could probably keep a good community alive. most importantly there is a pub!
And when the sea rises there a plenty of mountains to move up into.
Or you could live on one of the big tour boats.

I live in northern Ontario. Less than a 100 miles north of me is where all rivers and lakes flow in the opposite direction towards the Arctic ocean. Anything south of that location and the waters flow towards the Great lakes and into the north Atlantic. If one was worried about floods then one would want to build a bunker at that location.

BTW, there's nothing there but a sign telling you about what i just told you, otherwise, it's all wilderness.

Back a few years ago on a trip home from work I was in prayer and was actually complaining to God about the rich making earth a place fitted for judgment and how they ripped of the people of the earth to use to make hidie holes to go and hide from the wrath of God in. I was of course alone in my ride and stil audibly I was told these exact words. Yes, I heard it with my ears, or at least it sure seemed that way.

I was told, behold, it is their tombs of water. They will not leave the holes they hide in.

So basically there is no reason to hide from the things to come.

The answer is simple. Get right with God. You may say you don't believe in God, that is fine today. Tomorrow you will know. I am not saying tomorrow as in the day that follows today, but rather in a very short time all mankind is going to know there is a God. Some will change, others will steep deeper in the mire they are in now and be lost forever.

The wake up call is so very soon.

No preaching intended. Just wanted to say you can't dig a hole and escape what is going to happen. It will only amount to your having dug your own grave.

Think this through. The earth is going to go through some serious shaking and if you're under ground when the earth shakes, what do you think will happen to you? Do you really believe rock and dirt can save you? Or anyone for that matter.

A man could walk less than a 100 yards off of the highway and build a bunker without anyone in this world ever being the wiser. I know because I've scouted the area and there's nothing but wilderness for miles around.

I actually couldn't agree more with what you are saying now, moreover, I live by the sea right now.. Of course the hole in the groung wouldn't save you fro God's judgement.. But still, if God's believers could increase their chances of facing THE JUDGEMENT DAY alive, what would they be able to do?...

Pretty pointless to dig a bunker. We live such a tiny speck of time that protection from death is an infantile thought. We are all going to die.....nothing, no fighting, no compromise will change that. Just enjoy what time you do have and quit making extra work for yourself.

Thanks for the "data" for Australia. I disagree withe predictions though, since I know in my own experience how much more sinful the East Coast actually is... In reality, I'd rather believe that the reverse is true and that WA will be OK...But Melb/Syd/Adelaide will sink according to the "post-2012 map of the world" which you can all google now

They attempt to identify safe places to live in the US.

I don't want it to be destroyed; instead, I would like to set up a survival community *somewhere* - but where???; hope that if most people thought of that sort of thing, then no trouble would worry us, no matter what!
If you know a good location somewhere (especially in Australia) please let me know, I will then let friends know, and the humanity will have more of a chance..
