Take enough water and snacks down with you so if you get delayed coming back you'll at least be comfortable. Bring an extra flashlight or two in case you break or lose one. Bring a camera so you can share the pics! Have fun and be safe down there. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 609983Well that should be good to have all that. We decided to carry few flashlight, water, knife, matches, video camera, photo camera, paint spray as suggested in upper post, some paper to map tunnels, some of us will have mine gear. Few extra small flashlights. |

So i really don't scared that we will get lost, but that is something there that can damage us in spiritual way. There are some reports that there are strange occurrences when they saw some lights coming from tunnels and strange noises. There are maybe something that don't wish to be found. |
TAC User ID: 604377 New Zealand 02/07/2009 07:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | All you need is a video camera and bunch of horny teenagers and you've got yourself a horror movie! Seriously - as a previous person said, you essentially need caving equipment including head lamps (so hands free) spare batteries, ropes, harnesses, carabiners, and a first aid kit. Also bring enough food and water to last a few days just in case you get lost. Most importantly, don't forget to tell a friend or family member of your plans - when and where you are going, how many of you are going, the supplies you have, and when you expect to be back. If the shelter has a layout give a copy to that person. Take your dogma and shove it! Life is not about what happens to you, it's about how you deal with it. |

Bringerer (OP) User ID: 609977 Croatia 02/07/2009 07:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In theory, if you have food, water, and plenty of lighting, and you mark your way out, you should live. Dangers like rusted out stair cases, etc, etc, will be around. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 553830I would count on getting wet and dirty and hungry after awhile. At least take candy bars. Candy bars added to my list. thanks. hmm we really don't know what to find in there. How deep go this and long. We will see i guess. And i will post my findings to this thread all to see. |

His senses are way better, he will protect you, and, he will warn you if there is something up ahead. As an added bonus, if you do get trapped down there and have to eventually resort to cannibalism, your friends will definitely want to eat the dog before they even consider eating you. |

Pitbull User ID: 497709 Canada 02/07/2009 10:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Please take lots of pics to document you're adventure. Right from the second you see the entrance. I'd love to see them posted here. I went as close to Area 51 as humanly possible in 1995 (Tikaboo Peak, black mailbox, Use of Deadly Force Authorized sign) and shot over 400 photo's. I even have video/audio recordings of the Cammo Dudes following and watching us. Great adventure. Yours sounds just as good. Good luck and please post photo's (links to photo's here) I an few of mine friends are going to explore tomorrow abandoned nearby nuclear shelter. Quoting: BringererWe never been in such complex structure and we don't know what to expect. We heard that it's very long and complex set of tunnels at least few miles long. They go under entire city. Also we heard that many tried to explore these tunnels and end up in running to exit because something scared them. (darkness, echo and so on) I don't want to end up like that so i search your advice what to carry with us of equipment and some guidelines in exploring such structures. Thanks in advance. Sry for my spelling. |

That's why a prayer to the True Creator, the Most High God for shielding, protection and guidance as well as an accompanying band of spiritual, butt-kicking warrior angels to go with would be a good thing just prior to heading in! Oh, and if you have any orgone busters to take with you, that could not hurt either. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 611429 United States 02/10/2009 08:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A nuclear shelter that large??? Wow! I wish I could go. I know a couple of people who turned old silo structures into homes, which I always thought was a cool idea, but I'm having a hard time picturing such a large shelter area. If it's abandoned and easily accessed, I wonder if it's full of rats, bums, drug dealers, etc. |
