Why? The feds are doing nothing to secure our borders. It's getting out of control in AZ and if the state is sovereign then it can call it's military men and women in a time of crisis to report to the state's governor. Would that not be the plan maybe to get some control over the border finally? I hope this goes through. |

First, the people shouted 'NO' to Bush's bailout, but when they realized (the general populace is not to bright) their retirement and savings were dwindling away in the stock market, they shouted 'YES' (because they are greedy and didn't want to suffer any discomfort or re-adjustment). The same would happen if state's sovereignty was challenged. First the people would unite and cry out for freedom but once they saw they would have to actually sacrifice something (be it money, comfort, fighting, etc.), they would run back to the tits of the US government and world bank and suckle like a babe. Most people don't want real independence, it is too hard for them because we never really grew up due to all the comforts we have. |
