She worked for the Department of Education... She would know.

I worked as a teacher for a number of years before deciding that the school system is broken and may never be fixed in our lifetime.

The things she speaks of are pretty spot-on with what I've seen and questioned, and eventually decided to leave.

not to agree with dumbing down of the masses but when you attribute it to a certain class of people lets back it up we can go back to slavery when blacks were not allowed to read and to credit it to one family member i finish school with only my mother brother and i the system may have you to believe the masses are being dumb down no! as human beings we must educate ourselves when all else fails jurist to you just remember lifes lesson is the lesson to life and as the scriptures says those who come last shall come first

Having read the threads on this board since it started I can concur that they have been very successful, or is it that the dumb, ignorant and stupid are attracted to GLP.
Isn't it about time that GLP had a spell checker, as some of the threads are indecipherable. The grammer and sentence stuctures are generally primary school level as well.

This is why I'm failing out of school and have been in it for 4 years now, I just can't take the obvious method of control and slavery.

Ok - the motivation for all of this is plainly cultural marxism ie, people who believe that society should be run on rational grounds, free from arbitrary religious or traditional prejudices or entrenched class privileges - ok they are mistaken mostly in forcing it on people because they do not understand the importance of these structures in holding society together.

A lot of them seem to be jews - but that is in my view because jews are largely liberal/lefty/athiest/academic - and divorced from the traditional Christian values status quo - it is not a Jewish plot to destroy the country - they are just the natural 'true believers' and the easiest dupes to use.

It is the NWO that lies behind these people, which misdirects and misguides what would be otherwise fairly noble aims, into an entirely malicious instrument for the destruction of Western society (and have succeeded in doing so)

It seems to be Alien/demon/whatever controlled at its source - with the aim to have a world population completely under its thumb to prevent any planetary ascension - hence the need to destroy the US and the jews in particular. Islam seems to be the favoured system for complete and utter control - for eternity!

Dumbing down of the curriculum has been happening for decades because parents demanded their little darlings be given passing grades no matter what.

There is even a parent group now that supports banning of homework because it is all too stressful for their little darlings. They do little, if anything to see to it that their kids go to school in a teachable frame of mind or to give them any love of learning.

We also have a culture that loves to hate teachers and blame them when the end result is kids who refuse to learn anything and parents who see the schools as baby sitting services.

The only reason the private schools of all kinds do better is because someone is digging into their pockets for that tuition and buying the books. Parents who have to make a sacrifice then hold their kids accountable and tell them they are not paying for failing grades and D's.

No teacher can open up a kid's head and pour the knowledge in like lemonade.

Add to that an educational culture that has no expectations of learning for the lowest one-third of kids in our schools, and you have what we have - a few generations of kids who are ignorant slackers and proud of it.

If Mama can't read and write very well, then of course, her kids will not be able to do it either.

The last time we had an educated populace was in the early 1860's. Anyone remember what happened then?

What she's talking about are tactics on how to dominate people's perception of policy and move their perceptions along.

What she describes are typical white collar how-to manipulation tactics.

Everybody does this in white collar world who are acting at the policy level.

Identify the influentials and turn them, isolate them or ruin them.

Therefore, since the US has been falling behind in Science and Technology, the Government/states "step" in to establish consistant standards students need to achieve. However, every year the states lower the standards in order to have acceptable numbers meeting the standards, in order to continue recieving funding. Local control typically has the pitfalls of local politics. A village of idiots will produce a village of idiots.

We are at the end of the line. We are doing what Gorbachev wants.
