Please help me to understand because I truly tried to give him a break during his speech. I tried to listen to it as a disassociated individual. His speech left me dry and unmoved. Nothing sincere in his voice.

I figured since I´m working near the tv that I would listen to the speech. No skin off my back, and I kept waiting for something, a few buzz words, a great phrase, something, to give me a clue why otherwise normal people would vote for a lying, warmonger.

I never heard one, single thing that made me feel comfortable about the next four years.

The choice of words, the intonations, the facial expressions, NOTHING, gave me a sense of optomism.

It´s like he was just reading words that made absolutely no sense to him, like the speech was being read in another language which he didn´t understand. Does anyone follow me on this?
