It's funny to see how one movie flick can take a life of its own...

there are many of us that are standing in the way.......

I will just have to see that movie again.

It's a great story, but somewhat confusing. Or maybe it was simply not told as clearly as it could have been.

Did you get the ending?

Donnie wakes up from a "dream", realizing that all the choices he had made in the "dream" were wrong, and that the only right choice he can now make is to stay in bed... and die in that airplane engine crash...

... but... if you rewind the move, and start watching from the beginning, you will see him waking up on the road... smiling.

Did he just wake up from a "dream" in which he died in the crash? Are his "dreams" memories of the "futures" that "happened"? Is he remembering his own futures, and changing his own choices after/before they happen... again? Is he living "backwards in time"?

This "dreaming the future" is quite interesting to me, for personal reasons. Did I learn to do that by watching the movie, or did someone make the movie based on someone's personal experience?

What causes what in a time-cyclical world? And how does one break free from such a... prison?

Anyway, if you want to see the same idea told more clearly, and with considerably more action sequences, then "Next" would be the right choice.

If that was meant for me, then the only drug I can offer you is - knowledge.

Unfortunately, that's a kind of drug that people have to take themselves. No one can give it to you, and most of the time no one will even want to try to give it to you.

Consider yourself lucky if you stumble upon those who are willing to try... even if they know fully well they can never succeed.
