WTH? THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS! - Infertility is linked to chemicals found in cookware, clothing
Infertility is linked to chemicals found in cookware, clothing
Published on 02-12-2009

Pregnant women in the U.S. are at greater risk than previously thought for infertility and reproductive problems from exposure to chemicals found in many consumer products including food wrappers, cookware and clothing.

According to scientists at the UCLA School of Public Health, women with high levels of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) in their blood had a harder time conceiving and were twice as likely to be diagnosed with infertility as women with lower levels of the chemicals in their systems.

Doesn't surprise me in the least. Screw with Mother Nature's methods of how to do things, there's a price.

Thing is, it's not the "people" screwing around with nature. The people wanted fresh food, healthy food, and natural clothing. The people obviously don't matter cause every attempt we make to get away from their chemicals is met with resistance and legislation. If sodium fluoride weren't added to our water they'd actually have to pay to get rid of it as it falls under the toxic waste classification. Many people are pushing to get it out of the water but Congress and the FDA don't care. Now they're talking about using radiated gypsum to make roads in Florida - stating (as they do with Fluoride, BPA, Aspartame, et al) that there is not any valid study that shows it to be harmful. Many of my friends switched to bottled water to get away from sodium fluoride and weren't happy when I told them most bottled water has it added now. They're even less happy to hear about the possibly dangers of Furon in our food (100% of the American population consumes Furon - and oddly enough many "snacks" labeled as healthy or organic (like Veggie Chips) have some of the highest amounts (and a few years ago Beechnut Organic Baby Foods had over 3 times the amount of Furon than other baby foods).
