Why Aussie Bloke May Have Been Right | |
Burning Oz The Clue? User ID: 613452 United States 02/12/2009 01:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am working on a hypothesis that the depletion of the ozone layer is caused by organic compounds in interstellar dust clouds. As the earth passes through the cloud these organic compounds whose spectra has been observed in intergallactic dust studies strip the ozone layer from the earth like paint thinner strips paint. Remember how Aussie Bloke said it was coming from the South. If the cloud is coming at the earth from the South, then that would be the point of greatest impact and conseqeuntly the greatest depeletion where the ozone hole is over the South Pole has formed with ozone levels dropping by 33% from their pre 1975 values. Why is this important? The heating of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet and its consequent melting could have horrific implications. The innundation of coastal regions, Southern Florida going underwater, complete disruption of standard weather patterns, and most significantly, the massive increase in the pressure of the oceans pressing down on the tectonic plates may cause widespread volcanism, and it will even shift the pole by 500 meters which may result in a wobble until equilibrium is increased with the sun bobbing in the sky. The tectonic effect will be like pressing down on a toothpaste tube - magma will surge at the plate boundaries. Earthquakes will dramatically increase in frequency and intensity. Perhaps this is what the Mayans were warning us of and why the TPTB are preparing and causing us to believe the depletion is anthropogenic and our own fault. Was this what the ancient civilizations were trying to warn us of - why they set their astronomical observatories in stone, why the myth of the broken millstone is present in so many culture as the Hamlet's Mill meme would suggest. The later consequences may be giant commet swarms as these babies are jostled by the cloud. If its something the earth routinely oscillates through then we may indeed be at the beginning of the end and Ausie Bloke may have been real. |
