A lot of idiots in here. Many fail to realize that time is NOT linear, meaning there are multiple dimensions. This John Titor guy even said there is a 2-3% variation in his timeline and ours, which means that mad cow disease was huge in his timeline, or dimension, while it wasn't as big of a problem here in our dimension or timeline. There have been around 200,000 mad cow disease cases worldwide to date.

FAIL. 2005 was when the dems were ELECTED to take over congress. 2006 was when they actually took office. 2008 was when Obama won the white house. Good try, though.

The year wasn't accurate, nothing happened in 2005. But you are right, with the economic meltdown and as Titor wrote before, "Faulty politics", the US is still bound to have a civil uprising of it's people causing chaos to protests against what the government is lacking or not wanting to help it's citizens out on, in terms of the economy and way of life. Look what happened in Egypt recently, I can easily see that in America. America won't recover from another civil "war"/uprising revolt type scenario, if it comes to that. It could be separated into different new countries, thus no more USA.

The USA has different laws for each of it's 50 state, it's people are divided as ever in politics (Dems vs Reps. mentality),and racism because of so many ethnicities in the US and the issue of Immigration along with Verification of citizenship.

Call me crazy if you want to, but the chances of chaos and Martial Law happening to the U.S. of A is pretty damn high.

Weren't the Congressional Elections that you are talking about in 2006, instead of 2005? Remember, late 2006, the Democrats won? The gas prices were lowering around that time for what appeared to be Republicans demanding the oil companies in America wanting to make the American people forget(how could they,though?) about the already rising cost of gas for their cars? Once 2006 elections ended with the Democrats taking over Congress, by 2007, the Democrats actually took the office. Then the gas prices went up immediately, back to "normal".

Same thing happened with the 2008 Presidential Election and after Obama won.

Whether John is from the future or not, it seems, now that 2013 is right around the corner, his predictions are coming true about WWIII. With America starting wars in the middle east, China and Japan are becoming uneasy, and the global economy is in utter shambles. It seems like 2015 could very well be correct. Our civil war will be the middle-class vs. The wealthy. The powers that be want a global government and want to depopulate the world just enough to be able to control us better. Those who survive may find it to be awesome, but you cant kill off innocent people just to make the lives of the few, better. It's selfish and immoral. If you're one of the few who want this to happen, just imagine those people throughout your life who have impacted you positively. They may not be a friend or a family member, but just a person you ran into at one point who made you feel good or helped you out. Imagine they want to eliminate them and their family. Kill them. Its those thoughts that make me realize that no one is expendible. We all know each other through one another. And to think that some people out there want to get rid of you or your family members just to make their lives easier and to obtain more power sickens me. We all have right to live a full life on this planet regardless what you believe, say or do. Unless of course you are a danger to humanity. We all have the right to know the truth, as well. We may be overpopulated, but if we know the truth, work together to solve the problems, we could then look back and finally feel proud of our humanity instead of shame for what we've done to it.
