You have my interest- I take Tramadol, I have a liver condition, and a doc suggested it and medical marijuana. I take Tramadol for pain. So if I stop the st johns wart I can expect it to be more effective? I thought the st johns helped normalized liver function. I thought it would aid in liver metabolism. I do not understand technical terms like CYP inducer. Perhaps there is a safe middle ground. I am a male, so birth control is not a worry-

guess it makes sense, the wart seems to help the liver resist inflamation, so there must be an action it has on meds- lessening their effect, in essence, wekening them, allowing them to pass out with the other toxins.
