Something that I could just grab when TSHTF. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 607959WASTE OF MONEY The shit is never going to hit the fan where anything like that is necessary... deal with it. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1379944 United States 02/22/2012 12:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was looking at survivormall.com and I'm not too impressed with their idea of a "trauma kit." My trauma kit has 3 different sized airways, bvm, sutures, blood clotting kits, occlusion bandages (for chest trauma), various clamps and hemostats, several scalpels, tons of bandages of many sizes, splints, tourniquets, OTC pain and anti-inflammatory meds, saline for irrigation... etc. I'm definitely not a doctor, but if it doesn't involve invasive surgery, in a SHTF situation, I'm fairly certain I can handle the issue... at any rate, better to have more medical supplies than not enough as long as they aren't weighing you down. Their kits seem kind of basic... like what you get at walmart or something. |
