I don't want to make rash decisions, but maybe I should use my savings to buy storable foods, guns, and look into solar power for energy. But eventually, those less prepared will come a knocking, and nobody will be safe in their own homes. It's definitely a quagmire. To trust in the Lord is our best bet. You can prepare your horses for battle, but the victory is unto the Lord. |

He came inches from my bumper, revving his engine. When the light changed, I was still distracted by how close he was - and by the time I noticed - he was already laying on the horn and flipping me off. As he passed he flipped me off again and stared, then peeled out. This kind of behavior is now considered "normal" in most big cities. You think this guy might have his OWN way of handling a cashless society? |

For them, it may just be what the doctor ordered when they're forced to defend their families. On the other hand, he could be one of those types that has nothing to lose. Time will tell. |

But will the police work for free? Even the goons won't work for nothing. Well, some of them will, just for the sheer joy of tormenting people, but a lot of the married ones will feel some sort of responsibility to their familes, and maybe go home to defend and do what they can for their own. When the sheckles stop coming in, a lot of the loyalty these mindless minions feel for the state will go bye-bye. Then they'll be using their state issued weapons to grab what they can for themselves. |
