The world would be a better place if TPTB listened to Putin. He believes that the way to peace and prosperity is paved with moral principles and not dicatatorship of a few. He's right. It appears that Venezuela and Iran agree. . .

On Black Wednesday (September 16, 1992), Soros became immediately famous when he sold short more than $10 billion worth of pounds, profiting from the Bank of England's reluctance to either raise its interest rates to levels comparable to those of other European Exchange Rate Mechanism countries or to float its currency.

The Times of Monday, October 26, 1992, quoted Soros as saying: "Our total position by Black Wednesday had to be worth almost $10 billion. We planned to sell more than that. In fact, when Norman Lamont said just before the devaluation that he would borrow nearly $15 billion to defend sterling, we were amused because that was about how much we wanted to sell."
According to Steven Drobny,[15] Stanley Druckenmiller, who traded under Soros, originally saw the weakness in the pound. "Soros' contribution was pushing him to take a gigantic position," in accord with Druckenmiller's own research and instincts.
In 1997, during the Asian financial crisis, then Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamad accused Soros of using the wealth under his control to punish ASEAN for welcoming Myanmar as a member.

Soros has been criticized for his large political donations, as he also pushed for the McCain-Feingold Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 which was intended to ban "soft money" contributions to federal election campaigns. While banning donations to the Democratic National Committee, no such restrictions exist on soft money donations to 527 organizations. (A 527 group is a type of American tax-exempt organization named after a section of the United States tax code, 26 U.S.C. § 527. A 527 group is created primarily to influence the nomination, election,appointment or defeat of candidates for public office.) Critics say this measure allowed Soros, in effect, to gain control over the Democratic party. Soros has responded that his donations to unaffiliated organizations do not raise the same corruption issues as donations directly to the candidates or political parties. They do, however, allow him to exert enormous control over the Democratic party.

George Soros and his connection to the Rothschilds

Soros is a Hungarian Jew (a Khazar), born in Budapest in 1930 as György Schwartz (in 1936 his parents changed their surname to Sorosz).He was educated in London and in 1950s he went to the USA. An important role in his development was played by the famous Khazar Carl Popper, who approved Soros’s projects and was his guru.
