Dummy. That's a bombing range. It's a target or reference point painted on the ground.

Agreed - looks more like a tarmac apron than a pyramid.

The US military does actually produce pyramids. This for instance is the "Safeguard Complex" in Nekoma North Dakota:

That particular pyramid is now long abandoned, just like all the pyramids created by other cultures throughout history. A Cold War relic; a failed attempt at an ABM system.

Nothing strange about this. It is used to test definition etc. of airborne camera.

In fact, most of the things depicted in this thread are ground installations for the testing of airborne equipment.

Errr.... to save fuel? It's not that close.

That Nevada Pyramid Bombing Range of Horror is no simple thing.

It is abandoned becasue of the toxins and biocreatures in the area.
