I drive on average about 500 miles per week to work, since I work all over the country. And yes, it does exhaust me. And yes, I do hate driving. About 25 minutes to work and 15 minutes back. It doesn't bother me. In my previous work I drove around 400km's (248 miles) a night over 12 hours or so. I enjoy driving, I find it relaxing even in traffic.

Must be nice all you work-at-home people! My commute is 20-25 mins door to door. I'm thinking about moving to Greenwich, CT, which would make my commute 1 hr 10 mins to 1 hr 30 mins. Don't know if it would drive me up the wall, but it would be nice to get away from the city and live around clean streets and grass.

I hate morning rush traffic. Its not really exhausting, just a tough way to start the morning, and I'm not even commuting from out of town, just from the far west edge to downtown.

Fortunately of those 26.5 miles, 23 or 24 of them are speed limit 65 which around here means 80.
