i work at one of the top employers in my town. we're not a huge company, but do around 5-10 million in business a year and employ 70-100 people depending on the workload.

just this week, we had a guy who is in one of our top production positions decide to leave because he has found another job, and a one of our girl customer service representative who has done the same and found another job. haven't had that kind of turn around in years. most people love it here and we have great benefits. (or what used to be great benefits like 401k...lol)

this goes to show you that the jobs are out there, it's just you lazy fucks continue to search for excuses so you don't have to work, and the easiest excuse now is the economy.

my bf says the same thing, he gets mad overtime and works in the heart of nyc. he says he sees thousands and thousands commuting everyday.

i could and have always gotten a job whenever i wanted. i know 2 or 3 places alone that are hireing. i do not see any of this crisis except on tv. everyone i know is fine and not realy affected. i belive and feel for the people it is affecting but sometimes i feel like im on another planet.

i guess i was being prepared most of my life by overcoming all the hard ships, and now i have just been blessed to live out the rest of the time of normalcy thst is left.
