Jefferson would be appalled by what goes on in this country. The elites own way too much of the productive wealth in the country. Sure, it is the so-called 'capitalist line' that suggests that these people deserve multiples of millions of dollars per year, regardless of their performance. But in reality, it is the worker who actually produces.

So, in essence, your quote is correct -- but applied improperly. It is the elites who are taking from those who are willing to work. And with their plush offices, often with cable TV and such, it is arguable whether they are even actually working.

Ergo -- taking from the workers and giving to the overseer class (a.k.a. upper management) is the same as taking from those who work and giving to those who do not.

Yes you can multiply wealth by dividing it, we're not talking about giving it to the people who are too lazy to work, but using it to get the minimum wages up.

Giving it to people who work with their hands, real labour, the people who fuck up their bodies by doing hard labour, constuction work.

Sure CEO's and such should probably earn more than these people, but not 20 or 30 times more, they are not worth that.

Minimum wages should go up so these people can spend more, this is good for the economy, the people who receive ridiculous ammounts of money, can't even spend it in their lifetime, and they dont need that much money to live.

By raising the minimum wages, the lazy will be stimulated more to get a job.
