Anonymous Coward User ID: 643190 United States 03/31/2009 04:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Rick Wagoner made $15 million last year. What did he do that was so special? How is he worth that much? He's helped to run that company into the ground, and he's begging for government money (our money). He's making that much money in a year..... taxpayer money, WELFARE! For what? The wealth has been consolidated into the hands of a very few. Everything is being changed in favor of the rich corporatists, bankers, conglomerates, government. It's a web of criminality and fuckery. Look at Kilo vs. the City of New London, and right away SAFETEA-LU makes perfect sense. I know you don't know what that is, but you should. How can the government take my land and give it to private companies for their private profit? And furthermore, how is that not welfare? You're telling me that the peice of shit corporatist who can steal my land over a nice lunch with peice of shit sell out politician, has somehow "worked" for that? That's funny. The problem goes both ways. Rich, poor, welfare's bad. Of course I already know that neoconservatives have found some strange disconect that allows their feeble minds to believe that welfare for the poor is a terrible thing but welfare for the rich is fine, and that's cool. Just thought I'd try to interject some truth. To pretend like the rich work....... lol. You're a comedian. |

There is an upcoming apocalypse, remember? :) Quoting: Anonymous Coward 638079Apocalypse is a bit strong of a word. The elites own way too much of the productive wealth in the country. Sure, it is the so-called 'capitalist line' that suggests that these people deserve multiples of millions of dollars per year, regardless of their performance. But in reality, it is the worker who actually produces. So, in essence, your quote is correct -- but applied improperly. It is the elites who are taking from those who are willing to work. And with their plush offices, often with cable TV and such, it is arguable whether they are even actually working. Ergo -- taking from the workers and giving to the overseer class (a.k.a. upper management) is the same as taking from those who work and giving to those who do not. |

"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it." ~~~~~ Dr. Adrian Rogers, 1931 - 2005 ~~~~~ The words of a truly paranoid ego |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 471354 Belgium 03/31/2009 07:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes you can multiply wealth by dividing it, we're not talking about giving it to the people who are too lazy to work, but using it to get the minimum wages up. Giving it to people who work with their hands, real labour, the people who fuck up their bodies by doing hard labour, constuction work. Sure CEO's and such should probably earn more than these people, but not 20 or 30 times more, they are not worth that. Minimum wages should go up so these people can spend more, this is good for the economy, the people who receive ridiculous ammounts of money, can't even spend it in their lifetime, and they dont need that much money to live. By raising the minimum wages, the lazy will be stimulated more to get a job. |

It was his DREAM... That is THE TRUTH. Why must you HATE THOSE who have GREATER VISIONS and DREAMS than yourself.... he is not the problem. Those who FAILED to CREATE hate him... for his creation.... just like they hate GOD for createing their self. SELF LOVE is the KEY to Wealth.... and ALL THINGS...
