When the people went to work for the company, THEY AGREED TO A CONTRACT.
If a company wants to stipulate certain limitations, the potential employee has the right to ACCEPT or REJECT them.
Both sides have options to put in stipulations; if no agreement is reached, the potential employee can search for work elsewhere.
