Obama fufills the 'signs' of the mahdi way too closely to not be him. Quite why the US army in Afghan should invade Saudi is a mystery though, maybe to prevent Iran from occupying the oilfields!

to all the Christians:
please understand these facts:
the Bible refers to 2 sets of scriptures-Old & New Testaments.
-the Old Testament refers to scriptures that Jews had with them
-New Tesatament was compiled by early christian churches & includes the Gospels.

-the Old Test is composed of the Tauraat (Torah) & also 2 other sets of jewish scriptures Nevi'im (prophets) & Ketuvim (writings)
however the Torah that Jews have today is not the one that was revealed to Moosa (Moses) PBUH. the original went missing & a different Torah was compiled 5 CENTURIES AFTER THE TIME OF MOOSA. this Torah was developed from largely unknown sources in a cut&paste manner.
since the original Torah was non existent, it was impossible to compile a standardised Torah & at the time of Isa (Jesus) there were 4 DIFFERING VERSIONS IN CIRCULATION.
- The original scriptures reveleaed to Isa (Jesus) PBUH are also non-existent & the compilation of the Gospels came at a much later date. Christian scholars maintain that the earliest gospels came into being as a literary art form during the last quarter of the 1st century. it was not until approx 130 CE that Papias, the bishop of Hierapolis actually referred to the Gospel by name.
in the initail period of Christianity, the Christians in diff towns/areas had their own independent bishops, doctrines and gospels.
the process of unification only commenced in 325 CE by the council of Nicacea.
of the available gospels, ONLY 9% WAS UISED TO COMPILE THE NEW TESTAMENT.THE MATERIAL WHICH INITIALLY FORMED PART & PARCEL OF EARLY CHRISTIANITY WAS LEFT OUT- this is referred to as NEW TESTAMENT APOCRYPHA. there are over 41 such Apocrypha gospels documented.

- also remember that the original scriptures revealed to Moosa (Moses) & Isa (Jesus) PBUT were revealed in languages spoken by people at that time-ie Aramaic & hebrew. Aramaic is still spoken by a small numer of people in a few villages in Syria.
Hebrew is still spoken but there was a time when it was only a written language.seeing that languages evolve, its unlikely that the Aramaic & Hebrew spoken in ancient times is the same as that spoken now. Then, apart from word-for-word transalations, Idiom, context, prejudices, local customs & cultures have to be taken into account. Without an accurate & detailed account of these factors being available, its only logical that there can be no guarantee that any trasalation of ancient works will be 100% accurate.
although Christians claim that Bible is the word of God, its well recognised by all serious researchers that the 4 Gospels-John, Mark,Matthew & Luke were compiled by people who had NO DIRECT CONTACT WITH ISA (JESUS)pbuh.
since the difficulty of accurate transaltion, there can be no agreement as to which gospels are "authentic".
The 4 above-mention gospels that finally came to be part of the Bible were written by people many years after Isa (Jesus) and Mark,Matthew,Luke & John WERE NOT DISCIPLES OF ISA (JESUS)PBUH SINCE THEY HAD NO CONTACT WHATSOVEVER WITH HIM!

then there is the fact that although these 4 gospels are attributed to one person as the author, many people were involved in compling them.
Scholars call them "layered" compliations- meaning that one person wrote the initial document & others edited it as time went on- adding to or subtracting from the initial document.

it follows, then, that since no original scriptures are in existence, there is just no way to verify that the parts attributed to Moosa(Moses) & Isa(Jesus) are really so. Common sense will tell you that you need to compare any document to the original in order to verify its authenticity.if there is no original, then with what should one do a comparison/verification?
it would also be foolish to comapre any document with the "oldest" manuscripts & say these are more authentic. there is no guarantee that this "oldest" is definitely an accurate copy of the original.
here is another point:
the Jews in Alexandria, Egypt, transalated the Hebrew scriptures into the Greek Septuagint before the time if Isa(Jesus)PBUH. Later on, late in 1st Century, the Jewish council of Jamnia rejected a number of scriptures that were included in the Septuagint. the Roman Catholic Church had used the Septuagint as a basis for their Old Testament. In contrast, the Protestants used the later Jewish canon as a basis for their Old Testament. those scriptures that were rejected as unrealiable by the Protestants were knon as the "Old Testament Apocrypha." so, while one group of Christians consider these to be authentic, another has labelled them as "unreliable"
we should also note that hte Ethiopian Orthodox Church has its own Bible which is differs to that of the Roman Catholics & Protestants. also the Eastern Syrian Church (nestorians) have a New Testament that differs from the rest of Christianity.
subsequent to the original compilation, the Bible has undergone more changes & corrections resulting in many different versions as Christiab scholars tried to "update" the versions they had & this resulted in even more versions coming into existence. it is important to understand that "version" refers to a copy of the Bible that is considered to be authentic by the scholars endorsing it & that it differs substantially from what somebody else has compiled. everytime someone produces a new version it was thought to be 100% correct. later on, other found errors in this "100% correct" copy and they now compiled newer "versions" which were supposd to have eliminated all the errors.
in this way, from the very beginning, there are now many different versions, whats more confusing is that there exists different transalations of a single version!
the Bible is a mixture of historical information, peoples' observances & the alleged sayings of Isa(Jesus) PBUH. there is no way to verify/prove which are really the words of Isa(Jesus) PBUH & which is fabrication as the "sayings" were compiled years later by people who had no direct contact with him. There is no way to prove which is really the true sayings of Isa(Jesus) & what are fabrications. When attempts were made to compile the bible in the early years, there was no science whereby fables, myths, stories made up on the spot & sayings from previous scriptures could be diffrentiated from what Isa(Jesus)PBUH actually said.
-Taking into account the historical background of its evolution, its obvious that the present bible contains many errors & contradictions. seeing that much of the literature of early Christians was banned, ignored or destroyed, it would be diffifcult to point out where exactly deviations occured.
-bothe the scriptures revealed to Moosa(Moses) & Isa(Jesus) PBUT were revealed for the guidance of the Jews & not for the Gentiles. Nowhere can it be found that Isa(Jesus) had said that he had come to guide others than the Jews- "the lost sheep of the house of Israel". (muslims also believe that most of the prophets before Muhammad(SAW) were from amongst the Bani Israeel(children of Yacoob/Jacob) and were sent to them).
-it took 3-5 centuries before the Christians formulated the final 27 books which comprise the New Test. thereafter CHANGES WERE MADE FREQUENTLY as new information came to light as people discovered additional gospels which had been kept in another country. as recently as 1945 the gospel of Thomas, written in Coptic was doscovered in Nag Hammadi,Egypt. the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 1947 in some caves in Jordan, also with scriptural material. yet, some of this newer material has been side-lined as being "apocryphal". some early material was also destroyed because it did not conform to what the compilers had in mind.
In conclusion i would like to say that the Christian Bible is NOT THE WORD OF GOD(im talking of God & not Isa(Jesus) himself being God). it does not mean that the bible does not contain the sayings of Isa(Jesus)PBUH. the only statements that can be authenticated as being really the words of Isa(jesus) PBUH are those that are confirmed in Islamic Literature i.e the Qur'an & the Hadeeth.
this being so, it is only a foolhardy person who will stake his future in the hereafter on such a scripture, especially since there is an authenticated scripture such as the Qur'an available.
Many people who had come to realise this, have had the courage to study the Qur'an &, in a very objective way, have compared it to the bible, & have come to the inevitable conclusion that the Qur'an is a divinley revealed book.
i dont know what it is that prevents Christians (mostly the whites) from studying the Qur'an? Would you be able to accept that you have been living a lie or have been lied to your entire life?
that said, what will be your excuse to Allah(god)?. we humans have been blessed with intelligence and the power to reason & diffrentiate bet right and wrong. sometimes i get the impression that many whites consider themselves to be superior to non-whites and view Islam as an Arab or non-white religion.
