Don't know, my motherboard is the same, one 16x and one 4x

AFAIK, the bulk of the communication is done through the crossfire cables, not the pci slots

it may go good with the sapphire i have now.

You can have 2 cards installed but they will run independentley.

They wont run together making a 3d game run quicker.

You have to have a motherboard that specifically supports crossfire mode.

Complete waste of money.

You will not see any gain with the second video card.

Interesting stuff. I'm still using a P4 with a 4x AGP card. Watched a hockey game last night full screen. I think I'll upgrade once Windows 7 comes out.

that is a good answer you know. i do not want to spend more for something i don't need. its just i got this $100 video card and it is really good for the money but wanted to see if i can enhance it because i have a 22" screen. i play HD just fine.


yeah get a new MB with a 16x video card like mine or better. everything will play smooth. plus, you can get a new processor for around $100 as well and get suitable performance for whatever you do.

i just bought i new fan/heatsink for my processor. the Intel one isn't keeping my CPU cool enough(60 C). expecting to slash that number after the new install.
