I know there are going to be stupid, off subject questions but for those who have serious questions, please feel free to ask. My experience is 5 years in the field, online nutrition classes, gave lectures on vitamins/sports supplementation. I specialize in weight management, diet pills, and sport supplements.

Please tell me what you consider to be the most effective form of magnesium in a supplement and which doesn't cause loosening of the bowels when taken?

In fact anything you can say about magnesium supplements would be helpful to a lot of people here.

Some supplements should be taken together, shouldn't they? Like Vitamin A + zinc
Vitamin E + selenium
Vitamin C + B-vitamins

What are some other combinations like that, and what about things that shouldn't be taken together?

Also, vitamins and minerals should be taken with food, but are there some that should be taken on an empty stomach?

talapia...sorry i'm trying to type as fast as possible here..lmao...yes it is high in omega 6..that bad crap you don't want. It is okay to eat maybe 1 to 2 servings a week but I wouldn't do more than that. I would eat salmon before talapia. My favorite is tuna right out of the can!

Re: I'm a nutritionist....bored today, ask me any nutritional questions you might have.
You are just the person I need to talk to...

We have trouble getting my mother to eat...she seems to have lost her desire, but then if someone brings in sweets and candy, she'll eat that.

Although she doesn't eat much of the sweets, it's more than any nutrition we can get her interested in, and of course it's not good for her.

She does drink that "Ensure" nutritional drink a few times a day, so she's getting a little something.

Her doctor has tried giving her some type of white liquid that aggravates her stomach, making her want to eat, but now she won't use that.

I'm afraid she could go into a Diabetic Coma or something because of the sweets...that's probably not possible, but it's driving me crazy.

What are the dangers of her doing this? She only weighs between 70-80 lbs...she's 5'2" and small framed, but so frail.

She had a heart attack on Wednesday this past week...Could that have been caused by an electrolite imbalance?

Give me your words of wisdom please.

pizza being bad for you...yes and no...you are right it does have all the groups in it...however anything you eat to much of good or bad will turn into fat if you don't burn off the extra calories...the the bread in pizza breaks down to simple and complex carbs...any unused portion of the energy it produces (sitting around) will eventually turn into fat...hope that helps

Any suggestions on how we can get around the weakening of food supply and the banning of herbs and vitamins. Are you gonna tell your clients to eat dandylion leaves when the fda goes through with their threats ban everything healthy.

Um you are typical brain washed .....

as for the tuna in a can unless it is from trader joes , you are probably eating soy in it , ( check out the cans people ) which is GMO and a msg.

Good luck with this clowns advice. Seriously .... I could go on but will let you have your fame and glory on here "nutritionist"

By the way people remember nutritionist's aren't naturopaths, or homeopaths react within reason use judgment and remember most of these people are trained with the idea broth filled with msg in the hospital is a good liquid for you.

my oppologies to your mom...my mom has the exact same thing going on...my mom is about 80lbs. has a heart condition, and had a couple of surgeries. She also has no desire to eat, like nothing sounds good to her. What I did and her dr. Get her on a weight gainer powder that you can mix with water easily (milk will make her stomach worse) get her to eat any food that is high in carbohydrates and simple starches...be careful with the heart though and watch the potasium levels. Make sure she is getting a lot of protein in her diet as well. My best suggestion would be a protein enriched food, a weight gainer supplement, and a multi vitamin...PLEASE RUN THIS BY A DR. BEFORE DOING ANY OF THIS I can offer advice but never start something new like this till you check with a dr. Best of luck

Yes read sugar busters from William Duffy. Use honey, cane sugar or sucanat as well as stevia in small amounts if you must use sweetener but refined sugar is not good at all. No I am not the "nutritionist " but thought I would answer for you.

I've got a good one... I hope.

Ok, let's pretend I'm an idiot, and I don't want to live with processed food. But I have no idea what is really Healthy to eat.

what is a "good" proper health plan?

I guess I need to hire a nutritionist to spell it out?

I really wonder, becuase I know the HFC is poisoned, and in EVERYTHING, but what is healthy in north america?

This is just people trying to make money off people who will go for it. Don't go for it, people.
Geeeeeeeeez.

Nothing works the same for everyone. For me, it's tea. I gave up coffee willingly several years ago and now I'm a basket case if I don't have my tea. Again, whatever works for you. Don't give these predators any money or your valuable time. You can figure it out yourself.
Oh, and by the way, who can fucking afford anything now?

Yep, so do what I do: use those fajita wraps you get in the Mexican aisle. Pop it in on its own at 350 and flip it over a few times, just to get it a bit more crispy (don't brown it yet).

This is crucial: BEFORE putting the sauce on, use a tiny bit of oil and brush it around the fajita wrapper thingy. This will stop the sauce from making the fajita soggy. I use coconut oil (mine is flavourless).

I throw raw ingredients on there, using raw garlic and ginger in the sauce. Just plop 'em on.

To finish, turn your oven on to broil and let the cheese bubble. BE CAREFUL with this step; two mins should do it, but if it's looking "done", take it out.

I cook mine on a wire rack, then let it cool the same way. It's the best thin crust pizza I've had.

counter react body from drinking. If you have completely stopped drinking..the best thing to do is buy some liver enzymes, your local nutrition store. Milk thistle (herb) can help...I would recommend a high dose of b-vitamins. Other things that would be helpful...vitamin C, E, and selenium there is a combo that has them all in there. other than that just get on an excercise program and good meal program. If you have sig. damage to any organs, check with your dr.

Yep, but make sure your honey is raw (unpasteurized). The store bought honey has all the good stuff cooked out of it, making it essentially pointless to consume.

And though it's unrelated, STOP USING MICROWAVES. It kills something like 60% of all nutrients in literally a few seconds.
