well.....if you're going to accept others interpetations of gods image as valid, then i would suggest to you that most atheists aren't simply stupid, rather they haven't had the testimonial experience required to believe.

in the U.S. it stands to reason that it is more difficult to have a meaningful transcedent experience through a modern xtian religion due to the fact that it is based on a culuture that exists half the world away. IMO there would be much more believers in a creator/creatress if the teachings were based upon the environmental and cultural geography (animals plants etc.) that the aspirants inhabit.

seems to me the stupid ones are the teachers and preachers.....if god is omnipresent then nature seems to me to be the most equipped teacher.

it isn't god they deny it's indoctrination.
