Quoting: Agent TrayDo this twice a day for at least a week. Also, take 2,000 IU of Vitamin D-3 twice a day. This will help you build up your immune system. Thanks Mopar.. that seems like an interesting concotion.. does it matter that my cinnamon is irradiated grocery store shelf kind? I haven't updated the spice yet.. I am up to date on my vitamin D though.. that is one of the reasons I am so frustrated! That is all we are using here, store brand cinnamon powder. My daughter has taken 5 doses & she is MUCH better. vaccinefreehealth blogspot com The risk far outweighs any benefit as the risk will vary from child to child. facebook.com/graphixyourway |
mussen User ID: 383866 Canada 03/16/2009 10:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Oregano Oil extract. it's strong, so please becareful. I use it all the time. i have also been taking it with C. Silver and Bladdex thats helping me with my bladder/Kidney infection. it's slow, but working. And Oregano Oil is Great for your problem. Quoting: EvilponyYa just drinking a couple of drops mixed in water can really help your immune system (or maybe just zap the bugs it touches on the way down). It is realllly strong. If your body doesn't respond well to hot things, be careful not to get it on your lips. (It will mostly float on the water you put it in, so be careful of the last gulp!) |

It won't help now unless you live near a major, progressive city, but goldenrod is excellent healing herb for sinus conditions. People say they're allergic to goldenrod, but goldenrod has no known allergens. It blooms at the same time as ragweed and people think it's the goldenrod causing allergies when it's the ragweed. If you have many sinus problems, it'd be worth your while to collect some and dry it this summer. It can be used in capsules or tea. Markusmaximus listed horseradish and it's also wonderful. If you can't take the whole horseradish, you can make an obnoxious syrup by using the horseradish and honey or sugar and water, then straining it. Nasty stuff, but it works. If you have any thyme, a tea of it will offer some temporary help. Inhale steam while sipping the nasty stuff. Another temporary solution is to put sea salt in warm water in a misting bottle and spray it up your nose. Lots of good suggestions here and I hope one of them work for you real soon. |

Agent Tray (OP) User ID: 405737 Canada 03/16/2009 10:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There is a bone that runs from the roof of your mouth to your forehead that if you can move a bit will make your sinuses clear. Take the heel of you palm and press between your eyes/forehead and alternate with pushing your tongue up on the roof of your mouth. It doesn't take long for your sinuses to clear out. Quoting: mussenYou can also take a tablespoon of oil (any oil will do, but a healthy oil would be best...lots of people swear by sesame...not the roasted one) and swish it around in your mouth for as long as you can (~15mins). This will also wiggle that bone and clear your sinuses out even better...plus there can be other benefits as well. If you have a big sinus infection, you can try snorting a couple of grains of cayenne pepper up a straw into each cavity. I did that once in desperation (on someone's advice) and got remarkable results. Even the moderate temporary pain of the pepper was a welcome respite after the throbbing pressure aches in my sinuses. The next day it was still much better. A neti pot is good too, but if your sinuses are completely plugged it's no use. And don't forget to drink a ridiculous amount of fluids...no caffeine though and try to reduce sugar. I hope you feel better soon! Thanks Mussen! I am trying the bone thing.. but i dont think I have it.. Never tried oil pulling.. perhaps I can give it a go.. i cant imagine sniffing cayenne... what if it gets in your eyes! yikes. Canuck User ID: 636125 Canada 03/16/2009 11:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | people swear by them netti pots. Quoting: Agent Trayyou know.. i was thinking about that.. with some iodine in it.. but I dont have one.. I guess I could send hubby out.. You should also consider taking iodine as a supplement, when I had what you are going through iodine got rid of it in less than three days. My sinuses were infected and my teeth ached something awful. Two drops in tea in the morning and two in tea at night... worked like a charm... everyone else was on their way to the doctor for antibiotics because it was working into their lungs.
