Just a bit of wild speculation from me, but hear me out for a bit...

What if the massive continent known to Archeology as Pangaea, were actually the island we know today as Atlantis? This could fit well with numerous things we have been told, like the sinking of Atlantis, the great flood, the seven known continents(seven headed beast), and the catastrophe could well have been caused by a galactic collision with a heavenly body, possibly Wormwood, or something else. We understand that around 12,000 years ago, something collided with the earth, and may be the reason we have the moon today, as well as the asteroid belt that separates the Earth and Mars.

So if we look at this speculative history, we could say that sometime in the past, there was one massive super continent known as Pangaea, inhabited by Atlanteans, or possibly the Nephilim(who knows?), and that there was a massive collision on the opposite side of the planet, which caused massive flooding and the rupture of the earths crust. The resulting mess, somewhat like a broken egg, would have floated around the globe, eventually settling in and cooling off to form the seven continents we have today.

This could explain much about many little understood things in our planets history. For example, we know that Mountain ranges like the Rockies, in the western part of the North American continent, were created by some catastrophic upheaval, while on the eastern side of the same continent, there is the Appalachian Mountains, which seem to be far older, and much more weathered than the mountains on the west side. What caused such dramatic upheaval? And could it all be related to the disappearance of Atlantis?
