We're already segregated, lol! In general, different ethnic groups and cultures will choose to live with others like themselves.

The problem with multiculturalism is that different groups are encouraged to focus on and celebrate their differences. With that line of thinking, integration is impossible for all but the few individuals who refuse to pay attention to differences.

As for multiculturalism being a failure, that isn't strictly true. The military has members from absolutely every group in the US, with the possible exception of the Luddites. It works just fine. Then again, one might argue that the military is its own culture.
