Restrictive & repetitive can mean working on a particle accelerator problem all your life. There is a hugh rate of AS in Silicon Valley, for example. What entertains an AS for a while depends on IQ & education level.
But generally AS have very acute sensory response & loud annoying noises would drive them nuts. The ones who develop musical skills tend to be musical prodigies.
Whatever is going on next door, low I.Q.'s got something to do with it.
If you want to figure out if your neighbor has Aspergers or is just an idiot you could try asking him how much/how long he donated to Ron Paul.
If he donated a lot and had a hard time letting go then he'd just be a low IQ idiot with restricted, repetitive interests and not actually Aspergers.
