Somebody has to work the low paying job and thats just the way it is. Even if minimum wage was $100,000/yr it would still not be enough to live off of because everything would go up in cost and $100,000/yr would be worth whatever $5.75/hr or whatever minimum wage is right now. I dont know what people dont get about this when they start talking about living wages and raising minimum wage to a living wage. |

I hate to break it to the Administation, but these are the jobs that where the backbone of the white-collar middle class jobs. I guess, that the Admin is saying that they will create better and more fullfilling jobs, say in the Obama-corps, or installing smart meters, solar pannels, and wind mills. Might I suggest, if a firm offshores, they get ZERO H1-B Visa' plus there be a heavy (dis)incentive associated with the practice. The more I read/hear, it really sounds like he/the Dem's in general, are waging war on what is left of the middle class. We are truly becomming a country of Serfs. |

My next door neighbor (where I lived two years ago) informed me that his job -- which was a white-collar middle class job -- had just been outsourced. He was given almost no advance notice. One day he has a good paying job; the next day he's out of work. Outsourcing of jobs is killing America. . . .
