Anonymous Coward 12/8/2005 10:12 AM | | Re: Hollow Iraq Election Held On Bloody Day | Quote | The Americans ARE the Terrorists! |
|
HiRisque 12/8/2005 10:12 AM | | Re: Hollow Iraq Election Held On Bloody Day | Quote | I know you guys like to throw around the figures of how many Americans get killed by the insurgents.
What YOU should really keep track of is how many Iraqi´s are killed by the insurgents. I have not kept track my self but I think that somewhere about 10 innocent Iraqi´s are killed by the insurgents for every American soldier that they kill. That is really sickening to me but not quite as sickening as all you people that are apologists for the insurgents and totally ignore this fact. |

Anonymous Coward 12/8/2005 10:12 AM | | Re: Hollow Iraq Election Held On Bloody Day | Quote | hey I voted for kerry, and I don´t like bush but i can admit that today was good. you people are just evil. You don´t care about the iraqies! you just want to destroy bush no matter how many have to die. |

Anonymous Coward 12/8/2005 10:12 AM | | Re: Hollow Iraq Election Held On Bloody Day | Quote | Is it safe to assume that the thousands of Iraquis ,living out side of "their" country, that just voted, are now heading "home" to their new homeland ?
It is great that we had the election. Is it safe to assume the U.S. won´t be "asked" to stay for the next 50 years ? |

Anonymous Coward 12/8/2005 10:12 AM | | Re: Hollow Iraq Election Held On Bloody Day | Quote | It took 5 years after ww2 for the german insurgency to quit. I am guessing this will take about half the time. |

"It took 5 years after ww2 for the german insurgency to quit. I am guessing this will take about half the time."
That is a good point totally ignored by many doom and gloomers. There were many insurgency groups in post-war Germany, all of them killed and intimidated people for years. The worst of these groups was called the Werewolves.
Most of them were former Nazis who suddenly lost their jobs, and some were simply criminals out to take whatever they could.
During the first few years after the war, there were many in the US who were critical of the occupation, saying it was doomed to failure, that the insurgency was gaining strength, and it was a matter of time before Germany reverted to utter chaos. Of course none of that happened, and Germany is today one of the strongest economic powers on Earth.
But for the most part, the American occupation forces weren´t besieged by whiners at home much, and in fact resorted to things that were against the Geneva Convention to try to control the insurgents. That also included the French, British, and Soviet forces. The Soviet forces were especially ruthless to the insurgents, but even the British and Americans resorted to some questionable and illegal tactics to subdue them. |

Anonymous Coward 12/8/2005 10:12 AM | | Re: Hollow Iraq Election Held On Bloody Day | Quote | Yea OP, why don´t you go over to Iraq and tell the people who braved death to go out and at least try to do something about their nation.
That´s probably more than you´ll ever do for anything.
You´re just sitting around posting drivel on a fringe website while brave people risk everything just to vote. |
|
Anonymous Coward 12/8/2005 10:12 AM | | Re: Hollow Iraq Election Held On Bloody Day | Quote | I didn´t write it, I only posted it. Unlike the usual misleading spin repuke nazi posts, this article was written by an EYEWITNESS. So you can take YOUR ´drivel´ and stick it up your ass. |

Anonymous Coward 12/8/2005 10:12 AM | | Re: Hollow Iraq Election Held On Bloody Day | Quote | i´m so happy
they get elections
hope they are just like ours
wonder if their candidates are hand picked
yippee
just like ours
just like ours
make the people feel important
voting
risking their lives
hope the candidates are of the people
selected by the people
for the people
and not by the ones who have "released them"

Anonymous Coward 12/8/2005 10:12 AM | | Re: Hollow Iraq Election Held On Bloody Day | Quote | A lesson for you all on how to spot a paid "Counterops" Agent working for the forces of evil. The same evil forces that created the massive destruction and murdered millions of humans thoughout southeast Asia. Notice the agent´s use of certain "trigger" words in a vain attempt to disuade your sincere efforts to uncover truth of what is occurring? Use of such silly schoolyard words such as "nuts" - "loony" - "crackpot" - "deranged" ... straight out of a DoD counter-ops Desktop Manual.
BTW YOUR bullshit no longer works here repuke nazi bastards. |

Anonymous Coward 12/8/2005 10:12 AM | | Re: Hollow Iraq Election Held On Bloody Day | Quote | I would imagine OP that the only eye witnesses you would give any credence to are ones that say what you want to hear. Millions of Iraqis DID vote. There are many Iraqis who celebrated their vote and are happy they took the chance to vote.
But then again those people don´t support your world view, so that must be propaganda, right? |
|
Anonymous Coward 12/8/2005 10:12 AM | | Re: Hollow Iraq Election Held On Bloody Day | Quote | The freedom fighters in Iraq have access to state of the art SAM´s as evidenced by the downing of the American Stallion helicopter and the British C-130 Hercules.
I would bet the pilots over then now are shitting bricks, can´t say that i blame them. |
|
Anonymous Coward 12/8/2005 10:12 AM | | Re: Hollow Iraq Election Held On Bloody Day | Quote | The insurgents said they used an anti-tank rocket to hit the plane. It´s called a lucky shot. |

Neoprophet 12/8/2005 10:12 AM | | Re: Hollow Iraq Election Held On Bloody Day | Quote | AC 2:06 - you would not know what propaganda was if it bit you on the ass. You are so brainwashed you cannot accept the possibility that what you see on TV might not be true. Are you even aware that TV news programs are not under any obligation to tell the truth? This came out in court when FOX was sued about false stories being reported. The court sided with FOX because they DO NOT HAVE TO BE HONEST.
Get an education, learn about the way the world really works, then come back here and discuss it with the intellectuals here instead of parroting the ignorant yahoos. |

Neoprophet 12/8/2005 10:12 AM | | Re: Hollow Iraq Election Held On Bloody Day | Quote | Just think Dr. Pinhead, in a few years you will turn 18 and head out into the real world, only to find out you were SO wrong. I would love to see the look on your face when it finally dawns on you.
You look around like a confused child and make smartass comments because you know absolutely nothing about the subjects people are speaking of. You jump on the mainstream media bandwagon and happily bash "conspiracy buffs" and "liberals" without ever stopping to think that these adults may know something having lived on this planet much longer than you. You are like the mean child who laughs at how slow elderly people walk, being too ignorant to realize that you will be in their shoes one day. You are in for a VERY rude awakening. |

Dr P 12/8/2005 10:12 AM | | Re: Hollow Iraq Election Held On Bloody Day | Quote | I turned 18 1n 1964, Neoprophet. I must say, you´re in a very poor position to talk about "reality"--something with which you clearly have very little contact. |
