Me cannot help you there, but the wind has been blowing in Las Vegas now for five days straight. I hate the wind! But I guess it could make some good power for people!


Yep, we got lots of wind, that's why I want to use it. It's strong enough here for a wind farm, according to T. Boone, so it's strong enough for my little power plant.


I have been interested in this also, however I have been to busy to do research. It seems there have been people do wind turbines here in the southwest. I do not know the cost. I suspect with batteries to store, you could be self suffecient.

Hey, I use a small amount of solar cells with my RV and I can have power indefinetly as long as I conserve. For a house it is way too expensive.

Wind power might be the way to go to get off the grid!
Maybe with a bit of solar to help out!
