Don´t get me started. My birthday is right after the holidays, so no one thinks of or cares about my birthday. Once when I was little, I asked my mom if I could have a birthday party, and she said it would be too much trouble.

I don´t even want the stuff. It would just be nice to know that someone somewhere is thinking of me in a nice way. If I took the day off, I could just go to a matinee or something to take my mind off of it. Then I could eat chocolate until I pass out.

pretending does make things mysterious

If the people you work with are that nosey, you should send yourself 2 separate bouquets from 2 separate florists AND take the day off.

When you get back to work, be upset that both bouquets are unsigned but very different and you will have the tough task of matching the fellow to the bouquet without getting caught that you are juggling two men.

By the next day, tell everyone you are too upset to talk about it because you either confessed or got caught.

Of course, this plan might cost you $80.00 and a day´s wages.
